Finally you found him. Huahua was second in 2018 The Singer after Jessie J. In 2020 he won. Nunchucks are the fighting sticks with soft and hard part, just like this song. The traditional part is from Chinese opera, where male singers also perform female roles. Huahua is huge in China, he is singer, composer, multi instrumentalist and first and foremost communicator/ performer. He is very versatile stylewise. There are many performances to choose from. Fake monk, Ordinary path, Child, Dad I am home ( make sure to have subtitles for this one), Madhouse, Bullfighting, Qi Tian, etc. Enjoy the journey and become a Martian. This guy deserves to be known worldwide.

Glad you discovered Hua Chenyu, HuaHua for his fans (Hwah Hwah). Hua Chenyu rearranged this straight rap song from Jay Chou in his own unique style, mixig genres seemlessly. HuaHua is one of the top musicians/composers/performers in China, extremely versatile, you never know what you're going to get with him, rock, rap, beautiful ballads and even operatic pieces. He's a stage beast, never fails to convey his emotions and more often than not will engage the audience, which is so fun! Hope you would react next to his song New World (rock/rap), the video New World at Production Camp 2019, I would add a link but they get deleted today, thank you! Just wanted to recommend you to watch HuaHua's videos to the end because he often does dramatic pauses before ending his songs, here you only missed his cute out of breath face at the end, I thought you'd go there in each rewind hahaha (same as I always do) .... But no, you didn't get there lol

Hua Chenyu is one of the few artists that can not be pigeon-holed into any one genre. His ability to compose and also to reconstruct covers in his own unique styles is epic. Continue the journey into the world of Hua Hua. You will be amazed.

People from all over the world, myself included, will tell you that Hua Chenyu (watchin' you is pretty close as a pronunciation) is their favorite performer. Freddy Mercury was a great singer and performer, but HuaHua does many things Freddy didn't, such as rap. He's an incredible songwriter and arranger, plays several instruments, often pre-records parts of songs so that he can sing with himself, and is an absolute beast on stage. Off stage he is quiet, shy, and soft-spoken. In his early years, he was considered impossible to interview. He's gotten much more relaxed and talkative. You're definitely going to want to react to more of him. Patty seems eager to see you react to Bullfighting, and it's a terrific choice, so I'll back her on that. One last request. Please don't compare him to anyone. He is like no one else. It's reassuring for something new to be similar to something we already know. But sometimes it isn't, it's just new. Every year what HuaHua does is completely new and different from what he did last year, let alone different from everybody else. Your excitement at the end of Nunchucks was a blast to watch. It hit all of us that way the first time, and it still does on occasion. Thanks. I subscribed.

LOL Sometimes I feel like an old fart, but who really cares? Music is kind of my life. It sounds as if it's been a major part of yours too. Great reaction! HuaHua is so fantastic. Fun to revisit 2018. Watch "Creep" from 2015. Fake Monk is a trip and a half. Bull fighting is amazing. But the one thing to remember along with his incredible musicality is his philosophy expressed through the words of his songs. The man is DEEP!! Thank you. I am subscribed now.

That show had many insanely good performances. The Singer was a competition for acknowledged performers - a kind of best of the best competition. Jessie J was the first non-Asian performer to be invited. You could have a month's worth of reactions to just this season alone:
anything by Hua Chenyu (I would have recommended Nunchucks), Jessie J (esp. Purple Rain) or K.Z. Tandingen (esp. Rolling in the Deep) but a must see/hear is Tengri's earth-shattering performance of Heaven. You would lose your shizzle. In all cases the backing band and production were stellar.

It must be my lucky day! Zhou Shen and Hua Chenyu 🌞💘🥳 The video of Zhou Shen that you reacted to is from Super Vocal and this one is from Singer 2018. They did however, both participate in SInger 2020. Can't wait for more reactions of both Zhou Shen and Hua Chenyu ❤ Please, react to all his Singer 2018 performances, it is worth the journey and will prepare you for Singer 2020, with more of his own songs. In Singer 2018 the contestants were only allowed to perform two of their own songs, but the cover songs he rearranged to fit his own style and creativity. This song is originally a rap song by Jay Chou. All Hua Chenyu performances regardless of whether they be his original or not become his own.

I love it love it love it when people discover Hua Chenyu for the first time! That falling off their chair moment! 🤣 My absolutely favourite singer/ composer. Unique on every level in any genre he chooses. He can equally pulverise your brain with rap as break your heart with a ballad.
Here we got the rock, the rap, the Chinese opera, the choral heights, the air piano and even the lovely lotus hand. He transformed a well known head-banger song into thrilling art. As usual.
Try Equal to Heaven next. Or anything from Singer 2018. And Singer 2020 which are mainly his originals.

Great reaction! Do not bother to try figure out hua's style cos he literally does it all. He is the most versatile artiste out there and it is not an exaggeration. Both zhou shen n hua hua are gems in the asian music industry but hua is my absolute bias for his versatility, his composition abilities, his commanding stage charisma and philosophical nature.
