Thanks for this sweet vid. Nice downshifting. Very smooth. My 2016 350 is in the garage right now as it is a tad cold and snowy here in the Motor City. Enjoy your fine ride to the max. People might think your nutz for using this car as a daily driver but it is so much fun to drive even if you just going to the office. I am not a truck guy so to me this is the best vehicle Ford has ever made. Too bad they elected to cancel production this year.
I know that the Mustang has made huge advances since 1979 but this video reminds me of the 5.0 4 speed 1979 Mustang Indy Pace Car I had from August 1987 to March 1990. 3 blocks from home was an on ramp to a highway and I always wished that nobody beat me to it at the 4 way stop sign it was next to. I drove a nicer car to work than my boss did.
Great video. Nice to see something shot in reality vs on some track. I also have a 350 and the car is just magical. It’s just perfect and I hope to never sell it. I typically only drive it Saturday mornings but your video has got me thinking to drive it more. Thanks and again… nice work.
Chris. 100% get out and drive it as much as you can. I have one of the Heritage R's and mine has almost 7.5K miles, driving it all year in the NorthEast. Never selling it either. The reactions I get while driving is why I love it so much, nothing but thumbs up and kids telling me to rev it. Love this car!

Fantastic car. You simply can not beat that exhaust note. I currently drive a C7 Grand Sport. Amazing car. Especially on the track. But GT350R has got it beat in some categories.

Did you just downshift into 1st and pop the clutch approaching a stop sign? I wouldn’t do that, 2nd gear at the lowest while transmission slowing

I have cabinets on my walls in garage that are 1-1.5’ wide. It is a pain getting in my car. Such a a dumb spot to put cabinets.

Stock exhaust ( Original R ), no front lift, and yes, the front scrapes sometimes. You need to be careful going on a driveway.

Curious if you notice a dash rattle right in the top middle when getting into 5500+ rpm in 2nd & 3rd. I have a 2020 and would like to figure fix it

My shifter was the one making all the noise.
I finally replaced it and it’s all good now.
Maybe have the dealer try to fix it.

How do I get my gt350 to pop and crackle so much like yours? Is it because the R has the resonator delete?
The resonator delete helps.
But the key is to hold the throttle slightly open on desseleration when Rpm are above 3000 ;)
Give it gas. Hold the gas pedal about 10-15% while decelerating. Mine could pop for a long time. And my mpg was 6 because of it. Lol
