Hello Sir, I am an amputee, transition to from wheel chair is easier due to metal support near arm rests, I don't see that on Scooters, transition difficult?
transfer isnt difficult for you as an amputee. I am paralyzed from the waist down and I am able to transfer onto a scooter by using the seat as support instead of the armrest. You should be able to use the armrest as well but keep in mind, they are meant to rest your arms not be used as a support for transfers.
I have a 3 wheel I’m 270 I would like a 4 wheel are they faster and go longer I’m 6”1 in height my 3 wheel is victory wish I could trade it in for a 4 wheeler
Just because they have an extra wheel doesn't mean they go further on a charge or go faster. The extra wheel means you have more stability. As for the 3-wheel compared to the 4-wheel version of a scooter, 3-wheel version is going to have a tighter turning radius but is not as stable without that 4th wheel. Both versions of the same scooter are going to be exactly the same other than one having the 4th wheel. Batteries are the same, motors are the same, etc. Hope this helps!
4 wheel better if outdoors and have bad sidewalks and must cross many tilted driveways. Easy to tip 3 wheel scooter--I know from experience. 4 wheel scooter better for outdoors.

3 wheel scooters are definitely the best of the two
It all depends on your disability and what you are looking for in a mobility unit.
