    I'd like to comment again. You mention that you can adjust the tiller so that it's a bit closer or farther away, but I noticed that there is quite a bit of play in the tiller while you were demoing it. Can that not be tightened. Right now, I'm trying to get my insurance company to OK the purchase. It's perfect for around the house as the rear wheels have a shorter wheel to wheel distance which allows me to go from room to room without banging into anything as I pass. The front wheels are farther apart, which allows me to see where I'm entering a doorway allowing me to maneuver easier. In other words, it's easier when you see where you are going as opposed to the back end where you can't.
    I meant ask also. There is no speedometer or odometer. Is that an option?

      Beings its a foldable model, it will have a little play in the tiller

    I see that the battery is "bolted" down ... is there an easy method of battery removal? I need to remove the battery before lifting it! The scooter seems to be very useful, but the weight of 62lbs (a little over 28kgs) is a bit heavy for me to lift (dead-lift) up 3 feet! It'd also be handy to have the battery removed for easier access to charging!! Another question ... does it go off-road at all?

    • @Marcsmobility
      @Marcsmobility  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just to let you know, we no longer carry this unit and to answer your questions, the battery is not easily removed since it does have to be unbolted. Does it go off-road, the unit would go off-road but not advised if going into mud, soft loose dirt or tall grass.

    That looks awesome, but why air filled tires in the front. Where I live we are plagued with goat heads. I would hate to have to repair one of those tires.

    • @Marcsmobility
      @Marcsmobility  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't have an answer as to why pneumatic tires on the unit, that would be a question for ComfyGo. It's not bad to change a tube in the tire, just like a bike tire.

      @@Marcsmobilityit’s not so much the air tires, but the price. I’m looking at e-trikes for around $1500. They at least go around 14mph. I wouldn’t mind a mobility scooter for around that price, but most of them go a piddly 4-5 mph. I want one for grocery shopping , but I don’t want it to be a day trip, if you know what I mean.

    • @Marcsmobility
      @Marcsmobility  หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's understandable for e-trikes, they are a tricycle and not a mobility scooter and that's why they are a faster speed and cheaper. Their focused on able bodied people getting around and not people with mobility issues or disabilities.

      I understand Sue, I (Adam) am disabled paralyzed from the waist down and in a manual wheelchair so I get it cause I deal with it too. Anything medical has a higher price tag. We don't make up the prices we sell the units at, the manufacturer does so we have no control over that.

    I was wondering if you have any information about taking the scooter on an airplane for traveling?

    • @Marcsmobility
      @Marcsmobility  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you get the airline approved 10A battery then you would be able to take it on the plane

      @@Marcsmobility My scooter has the 15.6Ah Battery will that be ok for an airplane?

    • @Marcsmobility
      @Marcsmobility  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So that one is not airline approved. Any lithium battery needs to be 12A or under.

      I don't see why you wouldn't. You may want to contact Amtrak first just to make sure.

      Yes you can, This throttle is like a gas pedal, if you want to go as fast as it will go you press it down all the way. If you don't want to go as fast, press it down a little.
