I feel like what makes Erin win it is she is the only designer there that stays with her aesthetic from beggining to end plus the cleanliness of her construction... Other designers thinks too much and try to go outside the box to impress but lost their true self.
You can wear any piece from Laurence’s collection today, December 2024-that says something. Sometimes, it’s not about chasing the next big trend but appreciating well-tailored, classic pieces that truly stand the test of time.
@keriduncan5764 Yes. Laurence should have won. Or, even Roberi. I feel like Erin's collection had no actual tailoring. Everything was just a shapeless tent, which takes less time to make well. I have a hard time believing that Erin sewed 10 looks (including accessories) in 10 days, and that she spent weeks playing with fabric designs... which actually, her friends painted/designed/created. So, what was SHE doing for those weeks, since she had nothing to show Tim??? 🤔🤔 I am confused. Lol.
Beautifully said. It is unforgivable that she didn't win. This was a stunning collection. I have no idea what the judges base their decision on. What is the point in selecting a fashion forward collection if no one's going to buy it.
I agree that Laurence did take the easy road but of all collections hers was the most marketable. I can see her clothes in every department store high end to reasonably priced.
Laurence is the best designer of the four by a million miles - but her collection missed the mark for a runway show - she should have put some power crazy into some of her designs! Erin had the most runway style collection. I like her style - but I'd wear Laurence's designs in a heartbeat. (OK, not in my budget... don't ruin a dream LOL)
I understand why Erin win, the other 3 collections kind of bored me in a way that I already saw a lot of it everywhere but Erin's collection brought something new. It was bold, loud, colorful and fearless. A lot of viewers may not like her but I'm definitely drawn to her since episode 1. She really has a "winner's energy". Hers and Hester's collection could be bestfriend!
My opinion based on collections 4. Laurence (Her collection was very good but it’s very basic) 3. Roberi (Didn’t really have much interest because it’s very mish mash) 2. Rik (I love how edgy he’s collection was but I wish it was more impactful) 1. Erin (Come on clearly her collection made the most impact and it was entertaining, it wasn’t mass market H&M collection like Laurence)
Some of you watch but do not pay attention nor listen to the judges’ critiques. They explained why they preferred Erin and her collection over the other designers.
i feel like most people in the comment section miss the point. this is a design competition. a competition for creativity. the people who should win competitions like these are people with unique perspectives and most innovative ideas. at this point, calling a designer's work "most wearable" is not a compliment. as aspiring designers, they are not aiming to dress people who have so much time to binge watch a talent show on youtube. in short, it's not for you sis. and IF you've never been into any creative space, it's not for you to get (sadly).
True, that is why Erin won because it was basically the only collection with creativity and color. And here's my frustration with designers in project runway. Most of them tend to shy away from color. I am glad Erin won!
Roberi's outerwear is stunning....the green fur jacket is cute i can buy it without discount 😅, but i felt this should be his main focus since he good at young hip urban vibes (even though i hate paper thin-like piece // maybe reel in a bit with fabric selection) at the end though judge don't had a great feeling pure about dress look (the gown look old in my eyes as judge so to). That's clash the youthfulness 😢
All 4 collections look so much better in this final show. Roberi’s 3 looks were my least favourite last episode but his final collection is my favourite. Rik’s denim has grown on me so much. Laurence is a favourite throughout the season but the collection is a bit safe and boring
Erin's collection might not felt like this is worthy to be winner, maybe too funky/quirky/vibrant to wearing in daily life aspect but at the end of the day....all 10 look of her is 1 voice through out and flow like an arrow (That's what they looking the most - rounded collection in what decided to do...Then Trend/Business/POV as designer come as factor to help judge choose winner). The 3 runners up is great all along the way but in their own last collection some might done too much/less nor to clear aesthetics, moreover their had piece that work against the whole picture to be one perfect voice (i know it's need to cut a bit to be in these platforms...but i wish kept full original length in panal & deliberate cuz some here didn't had to heard real comments ones)
@@katellafor me i didn't strictly need to saw gown closed every collection in every season, because some designer didn't had gift or preference to done evening well. I understand you though....when gown came is might a cherry on top of craftsmanship technic, but also double-edge sword cuz in previous season there's some case to made a gown just to mad a gown....and if I'm remember it right Roberi's gown they did buzz about it that why he made gown to close show though.
I was so sure that Laurence would win this, but i dont know what happened to her collection. It was good yes but...a little bit meh tbh... Kinda disappointed i guess. Her design is so classic and could be worn after years and years. Erin has a quirky sense of design with a cute and fun undertone, but nothing i could see 'last for years'. I could be wrong.... It has been a lot of years now since season 15 run, so by now i guess she's (hopefully) developed. Cant wait now for season 14!!! Pretty please with sugar on top 😍🥰🤩
Laurence, if she made men's wear jackets, i'd buy them. all of her tailored stuff are good. I think she just wanted to present something she hasn't done in all the episodes and that's, unfortunately, what was missing in the final collection - the bomb tailored stuff the judges got accustomed to seeing on her stuff... sigh... either way, she was still a great designer. could also model if truth be told. she has that look. find it funny that the designer who had nothing to show tim (apart from sketches) was the one who won haha... sometimes taking your time works
And I didn't realise that there was so much controversy at the time. But Laurence Basse is still a top designer, and Erin seems to have dropped out entirely.
What a good observation. Her clothes do all look like their maternity wear. I really can't see anything from this collection selling possibly a plus-size collection the most young women are very into tighter fitting clothes and showing a lot of skin these days.
Some of you watch but do not pay attention nor listen to the judges’ critiques. They explained why they preferred Erin and her collection over the other designers.
Erin’s collection was delightfully whimsical and quirky. I would never wear it but I loved it. I love the creativity of it. ❤🎉
And Zendaya!🫶
Laurence is a timeless designer! Well crafted pieces that last generations! She deserved to win All Stars 20!
I am so happy for Erin, but also kudos to Roberi for making it to the top 2. Hats off.
Roberi really SAVED his collection with those Red heels!!! And he had the best models by far!
I feel like what makes Erin win it is she is the only designer there that stays with her aesthetic from beggining to end plus the cleanliness of her construction... Other designers thinks too much and try to go outside the box to impress but lost their true self.
Thank you so much for this amazing gift, everyday Im here waiting for your updates ❤️, please keep going ❤.
tim gunn is so iconic. he is project runway tbh
And some of his interviews are very revealing about his years with the show and arguments with Harvey Weinstein.

@tokyofall99 Erin whas the winner from day 1.

Omg yet another season has come to an end! Merry Christmas and happy holidays project runway family 🎄
I agree that Laurence did take the easy road but of all collections hers was the most marketable. I can see her clothes in every department store high end to reasonably priced.
Agreed 🫶
And that was their main criticism - that her clothes were already available in the marketplace - at various price points.
If Laurence hadn't turn down her edginess, she should have won. Where is the shoulders and jackets that we love?
ERIN IS THE CLEAR WINNER❤
RIP Swatch 🙏❤️
Erin was a very conceptual designer, made for Project Runway. Laurence was a more realistic designer for real markets.
Big win for ERIN. 🎉
Thanks ❤
I would have chosen Roberi
Erin is one of the best winner
I love Robeli’s collection the most especially the last dress. However, Erin’s works also wowed me. Congrats to Erin and the rest of the final 4.
who the hell would announce the loser before the winner ??? thats so anti climatic LOL.. buuu
Yeahhhh it's just soooooooo ...idk y she is like this....all of the excitement was wasted bcs of this 😳
Yaa it's a shame😂
Love seeing familiar faces, the gril in 18:40 wearing printed vest was Renee from ANTM 22
Shei was also there and was on a different season of ANTM. She had the black and white hair on her season.

Rik's family members look like they are taken hostage by someone...
Not used to the limelight I expect.
...probably by Harvey Weinstein 😂😂😂 oop-
If Laurence had won here, she wouldn't have come back on season 21.
To me Laurence should've won. Her pieces look like high fashion today in 2024.
My opinion based on collections

I mean laurence was the best tailor but erin was the moment - so I see why she won
It is a fashion "design" competition.
What good is a winner of said competition if it's all about tailoring.
Goshhhh i criedddd i want Roberi tp win so badddd 😢😢😢
And that's a wrap... Another season done... Tysm ❤❤❤
laurence talk like she doesnt care whether she win or not she seems very satisfied that her dream in NY fashion week came true and thats all matter
It is rather sad she didn’t win she had such an amazing run.
She has the best taste out of all of them.
@@katella By far....
Oh I want the reunion episode now. Cant wait tonight.
Hope they will do an all stars all winners edition, where no one will be eliminated till the end. Let’s see who’ll come out on top😂
Roberi looking cute with that lil top knot ❤❤
Love Erin she deserve the win love her so much 😢❤
LAURENCE should have won 😮!
Her tailoring the style everything stunning ❤ her clothes still gonna rock till this day
why??

I can’t believe Roberi has disappeared, no posting on his IG since 2017, no website, no nothing…
@@kazb6 Donald trump deported him.
😢😢😢😢
he is a funny weird guy though ! hah
Like many past designers from the show. Covid changed the world and many had to shut down or lost passion for design.

Erin and Laurence were the best one.
People here are so funny. Judge the designs not the designer 😆
For me Roberi should win…his designs are high fashion…
Erin has so many red flags but it works… i dont understand with her clothing.. am a fan

why did they get rid of reunion episodes on the newer seasons? that looks fun
Still Laurence is my favorite❤❤❤

None of them presented anything really Wow! beautiful. I guess I would have liked at least one flowing, dramatic runway gown.

Laurence should have won. This series was in 2016 and few pieces of Erin's would be worn now - but Laurence's are still high fashion.
And I didn't realise that there was so much controversy at the time. But Laurence Basse is still a top designer, and Erin seems to have dropped out entirely.
This was such a good season with such a memorable cast lol...only to be followed by the twin dumpsterfire of season 16
Rik and Laurence deserve to win the most...but am very happy Laurence won in the All Star seasons..yeah..love Zac as usual...
But the winner is Bishme...
She was wayyy strong in all star but bishme got the title . it could be anyone in season 20 though really

Laurence just did not get the memo. Ordinary, boring and very unLaurence. What was she thinking.
I don't get the hype around Laurence.
Yes you can argue that she's a great tailor, but there were more stamdout pieces from Erin than her collection.
