The original version of Eagle Wing doesn't allow you to pack any cards on the wing cards at all. You can only take them for building on the foundations. That takes the game from being winnable almost every time to only about 1 in 20 times. You're allowed to redeal twice, but that's still not quite enough and it's not as interesting as the version you've described.
As for terminology, the centre face-down pile is generically known as a reserve and in Eagle Wing known as the trunk. The wings meanwhile comprise the tableau. The remaining deck is the stock or talon, and the pile you turn cards from the stock over to is the wastepile.

I’m a lil confused about flicksies at what point do the other players get to flick the cards? is it after the first player runs out of cards? Or is it like all the players are flicking the cards at the same time? And btw don’t listen to the haters keep doing what your doing my guy these videos are so entertaining I love it, keep helping people to keep busy during this time of crisis

Thank you for that 😀 as for flicksies (the most random ever but amazing with more players), you take in turns flicking one card at a time. If one of you overlaps a card (or cards) you pick them up and have another go. If you miss, play continues as normal going from one player to the next. Once all other players have exhausted their cards, you win.

hi! great vid! I've won my first 7 games of Eagle Wings, in a row haha. can u further explain the adult version, please?

Wow you're bossing it! 😆 Yes. There are many variations of Eagle Wings but the one I learnt has four cards on either wing, you play the heel card (deck between the wings) face down and most importantly, you reveal the first card from the deck at the start of the game for the foundation cards above instead of aces like I did in the children's version. SO, leave the top section clear when setting up, reveal a card from the deck (e.g. 5 spades). This then goes above the wings as the foundation card for the spades. You now need to find the other 5's to begin the decks for hearts, diamonds and clubs. You would need to find the 6 spades, 7 spades etc as normal until you get to king of spades then play through by placing ace of spades, 2 of spades, 3 then finally 4 of spades to complete the deck. I hope that makes sense!!!
