- Got a tip about a MASSIVE YARD SALE happening that wasn't advertised online so we knew we had to check it out. We made a Huge pile and had to pull off some real serious NEGOTIATIONS to make the deal happen! Making a deal is what's fun about what we do happy we both walked away happy now to sell all the claims we scored! #YardSale #Negotiation #FleaMarket

My gradeschool class made candles one day,,, we made them out of canning wax,,, You can also take a sauce pan of melted wax, whip it with a hand mixer into a wax frosting and use it to decorate the candles you make,, :-)

Lol. That’s hilarious. I was there. I picked up a few of those 80s style glass mirror rock band pictures they used to sell on the boardwalk. As I’m asking for a price, there’s literally water dripping from them. Cardboard back completely soaked. I passed on them. Lol. Stuffs been there for weeks in the rain and heat and humidity.

Yeah I feel like the military stuff seems to do well. On Blue Bus Dave's channel, he's always getting people asking him for military and seeming really disappointed if he doesn't have any that day. I see a lot of good sales on Ebay.
@@Sarah-xw2ff ...I found a big trunk of military items and did really well with it on Ebay and Etsy. There are some hard core collectors of military stuff, even the ephemeral items...they can go for big bucks to collectors! ☺️

A great video, some great items, I think you negotiated brilliantly and very fairly, he went initially very high, you went low and met in the middle, at the end of the day he would not have sold the items if he was not making money and also you passed the word of his sale to your friends and if they do well, they will too..

It's just how it works. I still have to out hours into cleaning, testing items, taking pictures, and listing items. Of he didn't leave all the stuff out in the rain it would have been a different story. Time is money and I've already spent another full day working on the items for resale.

The guy owns a storage facility right behind where the sake was happening. After people foreclose on their units he sells all the stuff inside.

The dog is a Labradoodle. In England they cost over £1,000! A Labrador and a giant Poodle. They don't shed their fur.

Sammie, I had one of those creepy Nun dolls when I was about 7yr old! I wasn't ever a doll person even as a child. I would either like basketball and skating with homemade skate boards. Of coarse I would, I had two older brothers.

On a sale like that u need to buy a couple things 1st to establish what kind of prices the man gonna quote then if he's fair u do small pile negotiate the thing and start another u get to big of a pile they think your getting alot and they want all the money
Yes you’re correct. Making a huge pile from the get go is risky and could be a waste of time. He did seem cool when he said he’d take care of him once he made a big pile though.
Frustrating when you spend the time searching through all that wet stuff and the prices are so high.

@@Sircivus It was a bit sad though cause they lost likely threw the trains away if they didn't sell. They were trashing lots of stuff while we were there into a 40 yard dumpster. Nobody knew about the sale and everything was left out in the rain for days.

I always do! It’s a long story but the short version is I’m a first responder that survived after the World Trade Center collapse. Got diagnosed with kidney disease in 2016. Perfect negotiation Tucker! Stick to it...you know whats it worth...what your time is worth. And people need to realize they arent going to make close to what you need to make bec u are doing all the hard work. They need to take a huge cut to sell quick and in bulk. Like the craigslist hunter he goes so low and somehow gets people to do it...not sure how he does...i think it may be all in getting people to understand how much work it is to resell...
