My dad has passed away over a year ago. My mom said take whatever I wanted of my dad’s. I took 2 Avon Rolls Royce cologne bottles(my dad was a Royce) a bar off LAVA soap and the top to a fairy light that were in his medicine cabinet. Covered in a deep layer of dust. Still not sure why he had the top to a fairy light
Sometimes what is mistaken for a fairy light top is actually a small glass shade for an old chandelier or reading lamp, often Victorian or Edwardian. I'm so glad you have momentos of you dad!
So much destruction here. I don't think others realize just how much. It is a vast area....lots of rural communities. We will get through this....grateful for all the people that have given their time, energy and resources to help.
We will never forget nor stop supporting you all. Nice to have you back! My continued prayers for you all. We in Ohio, like many other states are still sending needed items. Hugs! 🙏🇺🇸✝️
So many prayers I’ve sent up for you all. Your determination and strength during this time has humbled me, and made me appreciate just the little things in life. Sending you love and light, Sunshine .🌞
Jocelyn, I had to smile with the haunting nut dishes. I have a couch and bar stools haunting me for ten years now 😭. Thank you for another shopping trip. Have a wonderful day 🩷🦔🩷
What a sweet surprise, to find both parts to the fairy light. I don’t know why people would say it’s staged, that’s just silly. It would take more time and effort than it’s worth. For as many fairy lights that I’ve seen my favorite thrifters find, the top & bottom are never together, much less in the same department. More often than not, only one part will be found, the other one who knows where. You tell them Joycelyn!
Ivory colored trays you picked up for jewelry are silverware dividers for drawers. If you get desperate for more dividers you could always use plastic or styrofoam or cardboard egg cartons.
I have my grandmother's set of kitchen gadgets (knife holder, cutting board, etc) and one is a hamburger press with chickens on it. I'm not sure when she got them but she was married in 1916 so they're old.
That glass bowl with the strips I think was a serving dish. I have that exact one with matching plates. It belonged to my grandmother who passed away in 2003 at the age of 96.
The last item, Fenton fairy light. It needs a small clear tea light holder. I worked in a gift store in the early 80s they carried Fenton. Hope that info helps.
08:20 Very VERY early 1970s, from Ballonoff. Incorporating foil into the design puts it not much later than 1973, and I'd guess as early as 1971. 09:06 It's a taco truck! 11:02 Makes perfect sense as an inversion of the Chick-fil-a commercials. "EAT MOR BEFE!" 12:22 They're silverware trays. Got a couple of them in my silver drawer. 13:00 Likely just a cork driven thru by mistake. 13:18 Pfffffff ... not ANYthing you need to mess with, unless Andrew needs a new ashtray. 16:23 Dang, I *LIKE* them! I think they are vintage. Take 'em all! 17:50 Would LOOOOOOOOOOOVE to go with all a y'all to the 2025 Albuquerque Fiesta in October 2025, or even 2026!
I live in a city that used to have hot air balloon tournaments and they would go right over our house...they don't do this anymore. I also have a thing for hot air balloons...LOL...GOD bless you and your family with all His goodness
Just a day or two ago you commented how the Japanese make things in 5s or odd numbers. Maybe it's auspicious or good luck to have 3 Tom Collins glasses. You should give odd numbers a try.......😊
The nut dishes haunting you 😂😂😂 I hate when things like that happen, it’s so annoying! Then once you sell that main piece, the next time you go you’ll end up finding them.
Love finding fairy lights. I have a colbult blue sun and moon pattern one. I had to buy a box of colbult glass to get it. Only $50 for everything from a lady on market place. Got some other scores in there too.
I saw a Taylor Smith and Taylor plate with daisies. I have one and love to use it as a serving plate 😊. I love seeing things I have on the shelves. For some reason it amuses me when I recognize something.
Never did understand why Rae Dunn is/was so popular. I really dislike that font. Those drawer dividers for flatware are really common so it was surprising that you didn't know what they are for. How do you keep your drawers organized?
There were probably more pieces that went along with the hamburger press and they all had chickens on them. Makes me think of the Chick-fil-a sign. Eat more Chicken!!🤣
Must be hard to shop with the shelves packed in so much. The two holders that you said were microwave and dishwasher safe were, I believe, for your eye glasses. Just don't wash or cook the glasses. 😅
Question: the chalkware piece at about 2:50 time mark… isn’t it a door stop rather than a bookend? Seems like my Granny had similar. I know lots of them were (heavy) metal. Were any of them chalkware? Or did my Granny use a bookend as a door stop? 😂
The bag of plastic containers with lids came from a dollar tree. You can also buy egg containers there and the silverware trays. You really don’t know what silverware trays are?? You don’t have one?? I have noticed you sometimes pay too much for stuff at the goodwill. Sometimes though I pay a dollar or two extra because of no time to stop or too tired to stop at a dollar store. 😎🤣😂
My son had a,thi g for hot air balloons, when he was little. He had to have anything hot air balloon. He's38 n still likes them. I always, think of him when I see one.
My favorite item today is the hot air balloon. Love the bright colors. Was mean for someone to leave the cute little girl behind and take her poodle. 😢
Totally staged on the fairy light 🤣and you obviously got an employee to run off and price each piece individually so you get to pay more - makes total sense 😅🙈

The Fenton piece at the end, last picked up is not a vase, it is called a "Celery" as it is for placing celery on the table. :)
Or a spooner for... you guessed it... holding spoons!
You tell them, Jocelyn! I had to laugh when you found the base to the fairy light and said, "No, it's not staged, ok?" 🤣 WITH attitude! ❤😂
I loved that Jocelyn said that with such attitude and a laugh, it made me chuckle😂
I still can’t believe that someone said you staged anything. You have no need to.
Has if anyone has time to stage things, someone could come along & put the item in their cart? Got to be quick!😮
😂
North of Asheville....so glad I could, finally tune in.
@aceoffice I cannot fathom what you all went thru. It makes my heart ache for you all.
So much destruction here. I don't think others realize just how much. It is a vast area....lots of rural communities. We will get through this....grateful for all the people that have given their time, energy and resources to help.

Watching Jocelyn always lifts my spirits. Hope you are recovering from all the destruction.

Take the smaller end of one of your necklaces, string it through a straw and then claps them back together and they won’t get tangled up that way

Earring and necklace storage helpful hint-I use ice cube trays! It is the only “life hack” that was ever actually helpful🤣
It’s a rooster on the hamburger press 😆🐔
The white trays are for silverware.
2 of the trays you got are cupcakes holders and the other is to store eggs but missing the top.
The back and bottoms of shelves are definently the best spots. Awesome video, I need to start making more like this.
Down on your knees with a flashlight in hand - regular and blacklight LOL
The little plastic boxes with lids you found are at The Dollar Tree..those are great for jewelry!
I have my grandmother's set of kitchen gadgets (knife holder, cutting board, etc) and one is a hamburger press with chickens on it. I'm not sure when she got them but she was married in 1916 so they're old.
They were silverplated knife handles minus the blade. Bud vases.
I love how you put the fairy light together! Be Well
That glass bowl with the strips I think was a serving dish. I have that exact one with matching plates. It belonged to my grandmother who passed away in 2003 at the age of 96.
The striped glass looks like Anchor Hocking, Depression era. Love it
That Fenton Vase at the end is actually a Celery Holder
The last item, Fenton fairy light. It needs a small clear tea light holder. I worked in a gift store in the early 80s they carried Fenton. Hope that info helps.
Opal House is designed by Justina Blakeney. She's an interior designer and artist. I love her style. It seems like you do, too!
Poor lady lost her poodle 🐩 I saw some cupcake tins on the shelf, those are good for sorting jewelry too. Happy weekend!

The Native American statue is mounted on picture jasper.
Great finds today
15.35 I'm pretty sure they are vintage candle holders.
I would Jump at the chance to get those 😍
Sweet, I have that Otagiri vase w/hummingbird, but mine is about one and a half to two inches taller. ✌🏼❤️
You always make me smile, Jocelyn!
The chalkware bookend has seen better days....😵💫
A touch of hunter green paint would cover the little chippies. It really is pretty!
@@somethingoldsomethingnew2199You're right. And I think people expect a little wear and tear with chalkware. Cheers.
The advantage of the plastic silverware trays are they are washable. Not so with the wooden ones.
I am so happy you (almost) always seem to find some little treasures.👌🏻🥰
Have a wonderful weekend,Jocelyn.🙏🏻☀️
Those white things with dividers are for sorting silverware in your kitchen drawer.
Just a day or two ago you commented how the Japanese make things in 5s or odd numbers. Maybe it's auspicious or good luck to have 3 Tom Collins glasses. You should give odd numbers a try.......😊
The silverware stands are bud vases.
The nut dishes haunting you 😂😂😂 I hate when things like that happen, it’s so annoying! Then once you sell that main piece, the next time you go you’ll end up finding them.
Really liked the milk glass lidded pedestal box. So dainty.
So much to choose from!
Love finding fairy lights. I have a colbult blue sun and moon pattern one. I had to buy a box of colbult glass to get it. Only $50 for everything from a lady on market place. Got some other scores in there too.
That Otagiri vase with the butterflies is a matchy match to the coffee cup I thrifted at my local GW.
Another shopping trip !!! YAY !!! ❤
Love watching you in these stores . Wish I could meet you
Jocylen..Nurse flipper showed Xanax medical rep. Mug giveaway to drs. Goes for like 200.00 ..they are all discontinued
I use ice cube trays to store earrings.
I use plastic containers I found at the Home Depot that are used for storing small hardware items for my jewelry.
They are silverware trays for your drawer❤
Or like drawer organizers!
The hot air balloon!! Love it!!👍🏻😊🎈
Good video, Jocelyn 😊
The little lidded containers you bought for jewelry are sold at Dollar Tree
A set of 3: market as " a pair with a spare." 😊
Egg cartons work great to organize jewelry in.
I saw a Taylor Smith and Taylor plate with daisies. I have one and love to use it as a serving plate 😊. I love seeing things I have on the shelves. For some reason it amuses me when I recognize something.

The rooster like vases were made for utensils. There were 3 utensils holder and a wired caddy.
every time you say : Do you see it , it reminds me of aquachigger in his own way of saying it
They are friends from her early metal detecting days!
@@christinesbetterknitting4533 yes i know
I would put a ribbon around the poodle's tail.
You had a really good haul I laughed not staged😂
You are amazing!!
Do you have silverware organizers in your kitchen drawers? They were initially made of wood. The old wooden ones are really cute....
Love your videos
I have a vintage hamburger press with a cow head on it. Makes more sense than a chicken. 😅
There were probably more pieces that went along with the hamburger press and they all had chickens on them.
Makes me think of the
Chick-fil-a sign.
Eat more Chicken!!🤣
@@ms.krueger2660 😀
I liked the green plates and etched glasses!
Girl u should have went to dollar tree for organizing stuff!
Ope - 8:32 One of the patterns I collect, Mallow by Harker 💚💙
My undestanding is if the inside of any ceramic vessel is not glazed, it is not for use with anything you could eat or drink.
The bowl you found in the beginning is an Anchor Hocking pattern called Bands or Stripes. I would value it higher. Nice piece
I have my share of things that haunt me at the thrift store 😢
Must be hard to shop with the shelves packed in so much. The two holders that you said were microwave and dishwasher safe were, I believe, for your eye glasses. Just don't wash or cook the glasses. 😅
That one piece was Westmoreland. I had a layaway there (Grapeville) when I was young. lol I have too much of it
Paper egg trays hold jewelry well and keep separated
You tell 'em😂❤
It might be a weather balloon. Lol
Blenko Flair Bowl, cobalt blue right in the front at 2:59
You tell them , "not staged" xox
People don,t understand how hard it is to find a fairlamp I found a rudy and it is a match I was lucky it's worth 80 dollars I keep them have fun.
I wouldn't drink out of it !!!
Hello from Maine!!!👏😎👑
You should just take your cart in with you, then just wheel straight out to car 😊

I have a base like that, I didn’t know it went to a fairy light. Now I do ❤
I would guess not food safe❤
The bag of plastic containers with lids came from a dollar tree. You can also buy egg containers there and the silverware trays. You really don’t know what silverware trays are?? You don’t have one??
I have noticed you sometimes pay too much for stuff at the goodwill. Sometimes though I pay a dollar or two extra because of no time to stop or too tired to stop at a dollar store. 😎🤣😂

My son had a,thi g for hot air balloons, when he was little. He had to have anything hot air balloon. He's38 n still likes them. I always, think of him when I see one.
Did I misunderstand?Weed pot??? LReally?😊😊😊
Show me a pic please ❤😊😊
I was going to ask the same
What is a weed pot ?
I was wondering the same thing! Hmmm!
Thanks
The tray are for utensil drawer
yes it is it was not there before the white trays you have in your cart are for silverware organizer
I have a stand up oak jewelry case for sale
Not food safe.
Hi idol , how to know if ot is genuine cobalt blue..
I thought the clear "egg trays" were for ornaments. They look a little too round for eggs.
Love watching your videos I got some good stuff from an auction last weekend do you or anyone in chat know anything about sid Oakley vases
My favorite item today is the hot air balloon.
Love the bright colors.
Was mean for someone to leave the cute little girl behind and take her poodle. 😢
Don't let the staged comments get to you!! Some people just like to hate!
I love the Westmoreland covered dish, I want it, how do I purchase it
You have to watch her live sales and wait for a piece to be offered. Her show schedule is at the end of every video.
Hi Jocelyn lv Ann uk ❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Totally staged on the fairy light 🤣and you obviously got an employee to run off and price each piece individually so you get to pay more - makes total sense 😅🙈
