- US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has met with Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, today. His unannounced visit to Ukraine's capital is aimed at emphasizing America's ongoing support for Ukraine as it struggles to defend against increasingly intense Russian attacks. Blinken will meet with Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and senior officials. His visit comes less than a month after Congress approved a long-delayed military aid package for Ukraine worth $60 billion dollars US.

I mean there was no parade for Putin in Kiev, Russia suffered around 500,000 casualties, 2M people fled the country (usually the most brainly ones that make economy go), Finland and Sweden are in Nato, Russian gas exports are on the bottom, country is full of fires, multiple UN resolutions in which 2/3 of the world or more has denounced Russia. The reason for the delay is that our Republican members of Congress didn't want to support the aid to Ukraine so they wouldn't pass a budgeted package until they got what THEY wanted.
