NO! he was happy to leave her for priscilla he loved priscilla more he could have stayed with Anita had she been a winner but he chose priscilla whom he married and had a daughter his only child if only he paid more attention to her they would never have parted she never would have left him , she was like a bird in a cage elvis's play thing come back to when he wanted after seeing all other woman but she was the one he held out more for!
Anita left Elvis, he didn't leave her. After living at Graceland and going with Elvis for five years, she walked out of Graceland and Elvis.
She has a wonderful voice. Loved it

No...Actually, both of you are incorrect..Anita came downstairs and heard Elvis telling his Dad that he was torn on who to pick..she was Furious and extremely hurt and told Elvis she was leaving. He was crying and begging her to stay but she was not going to be second choice to a 14 year old...it took everything she had but she left Graceland after devoting 5 years to Elvis..he and Anita had said they would name their daughter "Alisa Marie"- as Marie was Anita's middle name- she was shocked that he still named his daughter Lisa Maria- Elvis ran into her 2 more times in his life and asked her if she ever wondered if they made a mistake- but Anita reminded him they wouldn't have their children if they hadn't gone their own ways- but he was crying the night before he married Priscilla- so maybe he was thinking of Anita.

ANITA AND, ELVIS USED TO DUET TOGETHER ALL THE TIME! ELVIS LOVED ANITA BUT, HE COULDN'T TAKE HER NAGGING AND, ACCUSING OF SOMETHING ALL THE TIME! HAS EVERYONE FORGOT THAT QUICK ABOUT HER CALLING ELVIS TO ARGUE WITH HIM AND, RECORDING THE TELEPHONE CONVERSATION??
But Elvis did not end it Anita did. Don't think one conversation was an indication of their entire relatiionship.
