Love reading the stories below first then watching the video next . How awesome to see grizzly & Bear over landers and you two to gather , really love following both of your video adventures . Loved this one you two make great interesting videos full of the history of were ever your at , enjoy that a lot . so many thanks for sharing your awesome videos with us all your over landing friends . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A.
I don't follow that many overlanding channels (well, maybe I do?), but I do also follow Leigh and Steph. Interesting seeing you catching up with them.... and well done with the rock climbing.
Been waiting for this one, I knew there was one coming with @grizzlynbearoverland. Another amazing episode guys! The landscape in that part of the world looks epic
Another great look at central Asia. Following you on Google Earth. The deceptive double mountain range - the Kazakh's have a similar snow-capped mountain view to the one you saw over the lake. But in between is the ~15 km wide Chon-Kemin River valley in Kyrgyzstan.
@@TheWayOverland Central Asia looks a safe place to travel. 6,000 km from UK to Kyrgyz border with China. A great overland journey. How do you keep copies of your video while travelling - upload to a drop box maintained by friends??
That would be a great journey! A little difficult at the moment though... We use hard drives, we did try online backups though strong internet wasn’t always readily available.
@@TheWayOverland Impressed you have both Troopy and video. I saw a clip on a Chinese news channel on TH-cam showing tourism development in south west China - Chinese tourists going off-piste in their own country. My comment was that it would be great to see Chinese and other tourists driving from/to Lisbon, Portugal to/from Sanya, Hainan province, China (Europe-Central Asia-China, Atlantic to Pacific) - 11,000 km direct, probably 15,000 km once various detours have been made. A trip that would avoid the climate extremes of Siberia, although high plateaus also get very cold. When Chinese adventurers start doing trips like this, it should get easier for others.
Jolie could it be that you are related to Sailing la Vagabond, could Elayna be your sister ? ... and Leigh knows Riley also well, so could be that this comes all together ? was following them at the very start of each, and now, by chance came along TWO - cool to see your stuff - keep on rolling Cheers Axel
Really like your videos. Start watching your videos as we will be doing the big lap next year and after that would love to drive from Singapore back to Germany. Just wondering how old these videos are? As grizzly and bear are for a while now in Japan? Where are you know, still traveling?
@@TheWayOverland yeah we hope we can leave early 2021 once all this craziness has settled down (at least it gives us more time to save mone). We have an old hightop troopy (would love to get the hercules conversion) as well and keen to see more hours you guys live out of the old girl/boy.
