    Very useful and helpful! I'm just starting out in this hobby so this video series helped alot! What brand do you recommend for a woodburning kit? Is a wired one better? Idk of you already mentioned this in some other video :/

      Hey new pyro! I'm glad these videos are helping. My favorite burners are the Colwood brand. And if you shop from Bear Woods and use the code SAVVY you can get a 5% discount! www.bearwood.com/pyrography.html
      Hope that helps! Happy burning 🔥

    how many wood planks do you have with the same thing on each?

    • @BurnSavvy
      @BurnSavvy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There were four planks, two on most planks, and a handful on the last. If you go to the playlist, you will see all the videos

    So with it not so great for curves, why do they call it a Calligraphy Point?

    • @BurnSavvy
      @BurnSavvy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question! I don’t know, my best guess is that it is similar in shape to a calligraphy pen

    It's called a calligraphy tip...how does it do for that?

    • @BurnSavvy
      @BurnSavvy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It takes a lot of practice and patience to make this nib do calligraphy. I actually think you have better luck with a flow point or mini flow point to do calligraphy than with the calligraphy point itself

    I find it interesting that one of the things thats difficult with the calligraphy tip is, well....calligraphy lol

    This tip works so much better if you use it like an actual calligraphy pen lol. Try using it on the flat side, not with the sharp points.

    • @BurnSavvy
      @BurnSavvy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the suggestion! Probably great for larger lettering then

    • @Kristen_Ramirez
      @Kristen_Ramirez 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@BurnSavvy Oh definitely. You are definitely limited as to what size lettering you’re able to do unfortunately.

    • @BurnSavvy

      It's cause she is trying to write very small letters and she's using the wrong side of the tip, use the whole flat edge and keep your letters 1.5 inches or larger.
