    Speaking personally, the most useful thing to me as someone trying to learn how to create is to watch the raw process of someone else who is talented go about making something. These videos are really helpful, I appreciate them a lot.

    First one was really sick like a Metal Gear Solid type beat. Second one made me feel like I was tripping balls in the jungle and then fell into the ocean.

      Agreed. Would love to hear even more thinking out loud, since it’s from scratch. It’s be super helpful to pick up what someone newer like me is missing.

    Yep. Beat gave me the stank face. Sort of DnB but not quite but in a good way. Gave me Photek vibes.
    Actually really liked both of them. Second one gave me a 90's Orbital vibes (in the best possible way).

    I got my digitakt this last week, got this sample pack, made something I was happy with and went to go and rewatch this video for ideas.
    Good lord you really make it seem like those tracks just were in that pack just waiting to be assembled. So impressive and I got a lot of great ideas for tricks too! Thanks :)

  • @SirGromit

    I would love to see you make a full song with just the digitakt, chaining different patterns to make a song structure :)

    Damn the first beat sounded like the music that would play in a sick racing game where the end boss is some wicked crackhead that you have to race at night, through a shady district where you'd rather not get out of your car. Loved it!

    This is rad as hell. Videos where you start from scratch are always the most inspiring, even if it doesn't end up in a full track. I just want to go noodle around now

  • @MrExplodicide
    @MrExplodicide 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This kind of lightly curated exploration video is really inspiring. I like how the process of these videos seems to be to "explore explore explore, and then find what's fun about what you explored." Really cool way to think about track making.

    It is quite fortunate that you say you love to do this and I hope that you do do this because I personally would love to see more of these types of videos so I hope you would not find it laborious to continue doing more of them. In fact, I would hope to consider it a salubrious process and overall endeavor not only as a content creator, but as an audience member experiencing such content. Toodles.

    I like this format. When you and other channels only do the text on screen I often get so involved watching the device manipulations I miss the words. I find it easier to watch the device and listen to your commentary. But that’s not to say I don’t like a good onscreen joke.
