I have been taping for 37 years I have never seen anyone pile their tape up like that. You definitely have your system down to a science. Who needs a $1,500 bazooka LOL
I just got all those tool for corners and seams, I can't wait to start using them and do it as professional as you have shown here. Thanks for the video and hey I have to admit that that the way you put thay paper on the corner was crazy, I usually had to gey on a ladder and put it from top to bottom and you did it from bottom! Great job!.
I was wondering when using the inside corder applicator you start in the middle of the wall rather than the bottom. Do you find a benefit to this? Thanks for the vid
It's better to start at the bottom and go to the top in one motion. I had a sore shoulder at the time, I was just deliberately limiting my range of motion
I really enjoy watching your videos, very informative!! My question is the following: you use the mud applicator and flusher/angle heads on corners where one factory edge meets a beveled edge. Doesn’t that create an angle greater than 90 degrees or does the roller fixes that?
Hello, just seen your comment. The angleheads/flushers are at an angle slightly greater than 90 and the wings can flex to an angle smaller than 90. So, factory to bevel corners aren't an issue for the tools.
hi colleague, I work the same way except that I load directly behind the sticking with the syringe and I put a blow of flusher and it is perfect for the load, try and you will see;)
I like the 2 wheeler because I can apply 2 coats overtop of each other, to double up the wet mud before flushing/glazing. I do this by lightly riding it on top on of the first coat without disturbing it. The 4wheeler just plows off the first coat if attempting to put more on top. If that makes sense. Areas I would double up the mud would be very rough spots, or if a corner was made from 2 beveled factory edges.
Hard to say. Personally, I found the Columbia tube to have less friction, easy to push, I can turn it upside down empty and the shaft will come out/open on its own. My older can am tube won't do that, but that could just be because it's old, So I can't really say which one is better, as of current.

Thanks. Just stuff I learned from other people and passing it along.
This is the first time I've ever seen someone tape angles this way...to each his own. But imo a bazooka and roller and glazer are the way to go
This way works really well for smaller jobs, larger jobs I use the bazooka too

Got the answer watching another of your informative videos! 👍👍👍

Thank you!!
Haha this method is funny to watch

Nice video! Thats a huge house ...
Thanks, was a large living room with 10 foot ceiling. High ceilings in every house are unfortunately becoming typical around here.
For the mudd applicator is the 2 wheel one better than the 4 wheel? Or doesnt matter?

Can a guy use the flusher and mud tube to do the second coat of mud on corners?
Have been taping years, have can am everything but was wondering is the Colombia tube worth it?

Hello it is a flusher you r using or a finisher ? Thanks
It's the finisher anglehead, this one: www.all-wall.com/Categories/Angle-Heads/Columbia-Taping-Tools-Angle-Head-5756.html
Just wondering why you're not running it from bottom to top in one run?
It's easier on the back to run down and up from the middle
@@Interior_Works just ben you knees not you back and you'll get same resoult in less time ;)
What size compaund tube do you use?
42", it's the standard all-purpose size. I also have a 24" and a 55" but I rarely use them.
