I've been going fucking insane trying to tell people that this game used to NOT run like absolute dogshit during early access, with folks acting like my PC is just a potato or I'm high. The game is borderline fucking unplayable as updates go on without the mod to remove all particles at the very least. You have no idea how happy I am that not only have I discovered that I'm not crazy and other people are also having this same issue, but also a way to fix this unbearable issue. Thank you.

Except at some speicif points, i with 1030 gt, 32gb of ram and 12100 core i3 (yeah bad choices) have almost 120 fps everywhere, even without clutter cleaning mods. Thank you so damn much man. I was thinking if i could even keep playing the game with all that lag and you just came. Your video looks simple but is almost the only one with the biggest impact on the fps.
Sadly this doesn't work anymore, you're given an error stating that DRG is unable to connect to Steam, even if it is running, and you're forced to close the game.
i just messed with some workarounds, run steam in admin then go to the deep rock exe and right click properties then click on compatibly then the box towards the bottom for run as administrator then run the game from the steam client
Damn thank you so much, I knew something was off since the game really started dropping frames in the lobby and I thought it was just my laptop but now I've uped the settings to medium and have anti aliasing on and it's 60fps literally no drops but before I had it on low 720p and it was 40-50fps
I tested it and it seems I'm not really getting stutters and my FPS didn't go to 40 this time (despite me having a 3070). However it did go down to around 70 and I wasn't running the game as stable as before. Idk. Thanks for partially solving this for me though.

might need to restart your computer or even reinstall the game, but neither could work as well since im only spitballing on what the actual problem is anything could brake the fix or accidently fix the game
I am so mad right now... I have an rtx 4050, and I get random screen refreshes like every minute where you can literally see the screen changing for a second, and when I try to quit the game or even pause, it turns the entire game into this overly saturated something, and I do not know how to get rid of it.
can you clarify just a bit here? Is the fix the the windows os admin privilege for the steam application, the windows os admin privilege for deep rock itself, or an entirely different initiated through steam itself admin mode, a kind of steam only admin mode?
I tried that fix running both of them in administratior mode but it just stopped drg from recognizing steam being open when it was given admin privileges thus stopping me from even attempting to play the game as it just gives you the cannot connect to steam stuff most games have when it’s not open
ok close steam then right click the icon then select run as administrator, then to run a steam game as admin you go to your steam install folder then open the steamapps folder then open common then find your game and right click it and select run as administrator

idk my drg is being weird i went into the compatibility stettings without running steam in admin mode and ran drg in admin turnin it off and on again i somehow got 120 fps but after the lunar update right now it jumped down to 80~ i did the same thing again and now my game caps at 60 fps again i don't understand i'm so confused

Had to "change setting for all users" when marking steam to run as admin as well to avoid getting the error meassage DRG gives you. Got DRG to run as admin finally. Yet it still stutters. Guarantees a lost life everytimes i play the the fucking boot game. So fucking annoying. Makes me want to go back to living amongst the peons on console. Ignorance trully is bliss

Just an update : Ironicly even if they add some DRM stuff there are still player encounter some player with insane XP hack as host.

Steam does not start automatically if there is a check mark. You need to create a task in the task scheduler.
