the pinging tool has more than one use, if you only hold it out and don’t ping you can see an outline of your teammates and how far away they are. this also applies to bosco during solo!
Plus the beam made by holding it can be used to draw the attention of your teammates in case they didn’t notice previous communication When you are super far away from your teammates it isn’t always easy to see where they are pointing but an infinitely long beam coming from them makes it much easier to tell if they are looking back and forth to tell you something
And it helps a lot when for example looking for fossils, I’ve drawn the marker over what I thought could be a secondary objective but turns out it’s just apart of the world, definitely saves your teammates unnecessary attention
Not only that but if you play solo with bosco you can ping certain things for bosco to do like fixing the pipes in oil extraction missions, mining minerals (but dont do that cause the minerals would just fall but do it if the said minerals are too high) fix pipes and kill specific enemies

To address the flying/medic dwarf ideas you've said; You can turn the Gunner into a field medic if you have proper shield upgrades and the Field Medic perk. Also, you can find Jet Boots on missions randomly, which let you fly. But they're on a use-based cooldown, so make sure to not overheat them! They can also burn enemies who are under you
I think the ping tool is very cool, it adds a more in-depth system to the game than just "look here" and has a lot of uses like outlining teammates and objectives, placing a waypoint (helps me bc my memory is bad), seeing what something is, of course pinging and then staring at something with the laser part because my blind ass can't find the marker, and for Bosco if it was just a single button press you wouldn't be able to direct him to fire rockets. But most importantly spamming we're rich, mushroom, and goo sack is the ultimate purpose of the laser pointer.
to be fair, the ping tool is double use, you can use it to ping things to your team, or hold it out as an "assets important to DRG" wallhack so you can find your homies, resupply pods, drop pods, and other important things on a per mission basis (like the morkite refinery, dorretta, or the minehead). you can even set waypoints with it if you need to make a marker you can find later.
I decided that this should be an entirely different comment from my original comment though this isn't that significant. I just want to say thank you Macro your video made me remember why I played DRG and why I loved it, I haven't played it in a while but after writing this I will. Thank you Macro, for everything. DRG is truly the last "fun" video game that will ever exist. And that's all thanks to the overwhelmingly positive community and the amazing devs. I have much respect for Ghost Ship and Coffee Stain🙏
@@poir7025 I mean that many developers are butchering games nowadays and this game is a very big exception. Its a bit of an exaggeration but you know what I mean
@@poir7025Yeah kinda weird how they are saying that it's essentially the last fun game to be released when there are definitely going to be games released in the future that are as fun if not more fun.
As someone with 400 hours on DRG it's nice to see some larger creators check it out from time to time. There's a ton of room for skill expression and you can easily tell a greenbeard from a greybeard on any given class. ROCK AND STONE!
In defense of the pinging tool, I have multiple points. 1: It makes logical sense in the game that you would have a tool to point things out. Kind of not the annoying part to you but I think it's important to acknowledge 2: If you simply bring it up, then it shows you where the mule is, where the drop pod is, your teammates, etc. 3: You can set a permanent marker by pressing e while you have the tool out. Which you can, again, see if you just hold it out. Serious time saver if you are, for example, a driller trying to get to a specific spot in the roof to drop c4 on the caretaker. So all in all, it does actually have more than one use, so strapping it to a single button would limit it's potential. I'd be interested if they ever did more with it, because it does seem like it only has one use, to a new player at least.
Usually I would watch your "For Noobs" videos because I was a noob in that game wanting to learn from you. I watched this video to see a noob teach fellow noobs the basics of the game while a veteran watches. Love you Macro, keep it up! Rock and Stone!!
Macro made a drg video. Litterally how ??? Thought this game was not Known by the big content creators ! Respect, And don’t forget, rock and stone Aldo driller main, 300h player, and still, my favourite game. Strong 10000000/10
9:08 I feel like a medic dwarf would invalidate all need for red sugar and make resupplies significantly less useful, and having a flying dwarf would just completely invalidate scout unless light is needed
In the hub, there is a catwalk in the roof by the massive window. There is a thing up there that lets you disable gravity for a little. Also the scout is my favorite as a titanfall 2 fan
the major benefits to this game is actually the dev team, they keep the community updated on both discord and twitter but also do live events on the TH-cam which is just awesome!! also deep dives lead to oveclocks which allows further customization to your guns and paired with the skill tree you can make every dwarf unique also can we talk about the battle pass? that shit is fire!! levelling up correlating to statues is epic and finding all the secrets in the hub is awesome, like the jet boots and anti gravity like who thought of adding that it's crazy?? FOR KARL, ROCK AND STONE !! ❤ (I LOVE THIS GAME)
keep in mind that he already gave it a 9/10 without mentioning weapon overclocks, you know, *arguably one of the best parts of the game* , even solving some of the cons mentioned in this video (spicing the game up for veterans, more dwarf variety)
Yoo, I'm surprised you didn't talk about overclocks and deep dives! Despite their nature for providing massive upgrades and giving downsides with unstable overclocks, they give you lots of incentives to buy/use other weapon upgrades in previous tiers that you didn't consider, to balance out unstable overclocks. Which I think is great game design in DRG.
The ping tool has more uses than marking objects, it also shows an outline of where your fellow dwarfs are and reveals your hud if you have dynamic hud settings on (there’s also a way to place a permanent ping but I forgot how to do it). I agree that the movement can be clunky because of the procedurally generated caves but it incentivizes engineers and drillers (gunners to a lesser extent) to carve out easier terrain for the team, making the game even more cooperative. Hope this helped, ROCK AND STONE!
Not tryna hate, but a medic dwarf is a bad idea. It would have the potential to break the game entirely when you combine multiple damage reductions, and could make Haz 5 trivial for even new players. Furthermore, this game is built around the synergies of the 4 dwarves. Each dwarf lies on a scale of damage and utility, and having a medic as implemented in most games would have little of either, just more survivability. Also, the game is built for 4 player teams. Having an extra class means that, even with no duplications, there would be 1 dwarf missing. Imagine you're on a high complexity mission, in magma core, with fossils as your secondary objective. Your team is a gunner, a driller, and an engineer. You only have around 4-5 fossils but know where the others are. The catch? This is magma core with high ceilings and nobody can easily get up to the roof to grab them. But suddenly you're saved! Someone is joining the game. They're gonna pick scout (prevent latejoin dupe) and can get the fossils and... nope, a medic. This mission hasn't been particularly difficult in terms of bugs, but your gunner doesn't have enough ziplies, and the fossils are on a massively overhanging roof. Engi and driller are gonna have to pull some MAD tricks to get those fossils now, and might even run out of ammo. If you had a scout, those fossils would be child's play (maybe with a few broken legs but who's counting) and soon you're back in orbit but no, you got a medic. Now you can heal all the damage you're not taking because your gunner is L3 with neurotoxin and nothing can touch you. We don't want more dwarves. Maybe some overclocks could be implemented with that type of functionality, or some grenades, or perks, or something. But not new dwarves. 4 is perfect. Also that pinging point at the end is Garbo. Not every game needs to work like Apex. The laser pointer has more utility than just pings too, and also serves to tell new players what they're looking at.
Rock and Stone brother! Always nice to see new miners find out about the company and having a blast! ...speaking of blast, driller for life baby. You can't tell me what to do, I'll blow scout up if I want to!
9:05 do not add more dwarves add more weapons ,perks, overclocks and modifiers 4 dwarves are plenty there is no reason to add more, we just need more of everything else, like in tf2 yknow the game thats watched overwatch die twice
With the overclock system and how every class has 3 primary and secondaries which all have their own unique performances and upgrades alongside 4 throwables, an additional class would be tricky to add, plus a medic class would be game breaking with how health is balanced already
The devs aren’t going to add more classes, it would go against the game design They want the ideal team to be one of each class, so adding a 5th means there will always be one class missing and that creates arguments, like when you pick someone in OW and your team tells you “that class sucks, get off it”. The game is really careful to walk around land mines which would make players argue which results in everyone being so polite to each other and it’s awesome Also a “flying class” is pretty much just scout with the right upgrades/overlcocks. They recently added jet boots as a rare power up and a lot of other stuff gives you the advantage of air time. A flight class would destroy a lot of scout’s purpose and would probably end up being a little busted since most enemies are on the ground. Fall damage is always an enemy to every class and a blend of teamwork and personal skill is what can hinder it
@@cosmicsquid1285I feel like macro just hasn’t played enough, he’s only done 2 streams so he is mostly likely yet to get all the new alternate weapons and get into the overclock collecting
So many things wrong or misrepresented. 4:05 Incorrect, "supplies" are not affected by haz rating whatsoever. Haz rating increases enemies, as well as damage resistance; increased for various enemy classes, decreased for players. Additionally, difficulty scales according to how many players you have, so it's sort of a multi-faceted difficulty system. Overall though supplies are constant, I have no idea what you mean by that. Source: 467 hours, level 180. 5:09 "If you have to"??? Vampire Cryo Driller is literally meta. Freeze a group of enemies, then drill them to fully refill your health, profit. 5:16 Entirely wrong, you cannot hurt yourself with your own flamethrower, ever. Additionally, while the _initial_ flame "projectile" _can_ damage teammates, _lingering flames on the ground deal no self OR friendly fire damage._ Literally you can just cosplay as the "This is fine" dog and burn anything that gets close to you, especially if you spec into sticky flame duration. 6:07 Slightly incorrect, at least depending on who you're playing with. Highest DPS and killcount actually trends towards Engineers, not Gunners. Gunner is actually DRG's closest thing to an MMO Holy Trinity tank class and helps to manage crowd aggro and mitigate damage. Going back, I just now realized you never even mentioned his shield generator, which is HIS MOST IMPORTANT TOOL OVER LITERALLY EVERYTHING ELSE IN HIS KIT, UNLOCKABLE OR INHERENT. NOT USING THE SHIELD GENERATOR IS GROUNDS TO KICK YER LEAF LOVING ASS FROM MY GAMES ON SIGHT. 6:14 Please use your secondary weapon more. The gray squares under your name when you press Ctrl are begging you to use your revolver in more situations than "my minigun is literally at 0 ammo". 6:37 **obnoxiously angry scout main noises** *YE TRY SAYING THAT WHEN THE CAVES ARE BLOODY PITCH BLACK AND YE CAN'T SEE THE CAVE LEECHES YA POINTY EARED LEAF LOVER!* Pah. Remind me ter choose a different dwarf t' grapple and Field Medic insta-rez when the mission gets bloody hairy. 7:56 "Kick cans"??? THEY'RE MUGS. Unless you mean the barrels (in which case that clip is insanely mismatched, how the hell did your editor not find a clip of you kicking a barrel?), which are referred to in like seventy frequently used voicelines as BARRELS. Did you even play the game? 8:16 The beer that "teleports you" and the beer that "sends you to space" are the exact same beer (Wormhole Special). And come on, show off the actually fun beers. Like the one that causes you to get kicked around by mini-explosions (Flintlocke's Delight) or the beers that make you smaller or larger that also affect your character's voice pitch (Malt Rockbearer / Underhill Deluxe) or the one that gives you zero gravity (Moonrider... uh something, i forgor 💀). Or how about the one that literally just flat out kills you (Blackout Stout)? Wormhole Special, Burning Love, and Smart Stout are boring drinks (at least, on their own). 9:28 There's actually been plenty of storytelling and lore, it's just not beating you over the head with it like Apex Legends. Boo hoo, there's no comics or animated trailers, meanwhile you skip Mission Control's assignment complete dialogues, pay zero attention to dwarf voicelines, do zero work to decipher elements like the existence of the mini mules (did you even know there's a reason why mini mules aren't used anymore? of course not, cuz there isn't a 2 million dollar CG film about it that was made primarily to sell cosmetics), etc. Basically... there is a TON of environmental storytelling and expositional dialogue that I guarantee you are absolutely ignoring or missing. 9:42 Dumbass! Land on a dwarf and bounce off of them! Use a ledgegrab to cancel the fall! Also, this is very obviously an out-of-the-ordinary situation that has nothing to do with the clunkiness of the movement, by the way. All you need to know is that ledgegrabs require space for your dwarf on the surface to be valid, power attacks are a quick way of breaking terrain for footholds, and equip the Dash ability and never look back. 10:02 Have you ever noticed that the laser pointer also has a screen that lets you identify things without annoying teammates with a ping? No? Of course not. ...but I will give you that it should be made a thing that can be done with the off hand, but still, like. It's not that big of a deal, bro. 10:45 Fun fact that I know a lot of greenbeards miss: you can scroll the mouse to zoom out on the terrain scanner. Do that. You will start to realize that the terrain scanner is quite possibly the second most important tool in the game, just above the laser pointer. And of course right under the salute button 1st because ROCK AND STONE

Drg is one of the few games that makes people interact positively most of the time but in my 100 hours currently I've only ran into two people that blamed the team for a mission fail and immediately disbanded before anyone could speak but almost every other interaction has been fun
DRG on it's own is a 9/10 but in comparison to the usual of today is a 10/10, also I would like to see you do a more in depth video on DRG mabey a few videos exploring the classes more, like a video on gunner or scout, also I genuinely want to see you explore more in DRG like overclocks, frameworks, the other weapons, etc.
That's fair. I think he hasn't gotten super far in yet too and that can make a difference on the opinion of the game. Once you start unlocking a lot of the overclocks the fun factor can really go up!
My friend just put me on this game last night and after the grinding Elden Ring, or the buggyness star citizen was really relaxing and very fun, I almost feel betrayed that they didn’t put me on this sooner lol. Love you, Noob.
been watching for like 5 years and I don't know what it was about this video that made me realize how important macro has been to me for all these years. I remember pretending to have played overwatch and becoming friends with who is now my best friend over your videos. every upload gives me so much joy and I'm just not ready for the day he stops uploading.
The endgame content is actually pretty significant. The overclock system means that you will be getting new stuff even a hundred to two hundred hours into the game
I have played the game for some time now and I am happy to answer questions to you. (Macro 1 small thing I would like to add is,, the Gunner will become the medic in higher hazert missions and the other classes will become just a deadly as him.)
My experience with DRG so far has been starting out it was... a bit aimless, like a barrel. I felt a bit put off, but trundled through and eventually that barrel was full of stuff to do and reasons to do them. I went from thinking the gunners big feature was the mini gun.... to realizing that the shield is the most amazing thing about the class. Drive off big splody bugs, safe rescues, buying time, and so many more things. I organically discovered how the shield worked by tossing it into a group of monsters thinking that them being inside would moot the point of it.... then they ran away. So now i am the big manly dwarf who provides safe spaces.
Engineer is my favorite class simply because his late game gear is amazing. Sure, at the start he was my least liked class because of the lackluster shotgun, but i have grown to love it and his later weapons literally turn him into gilgamesh the consumer of reality.
@@ThePianist51 Huh? If this means that the shotgun is bad, its not once you get to tier 3 and if it means its good, i agree. (After you get tier 3, of course)
I got this game a few days ago and I gotta say a lot of the time Bosco is more useful than a teammate. He’s got rockets, never runs out of ammo, can go anywhere, can revive you at any time, can go carry heavy loads, will dig dirt for you, can shine lights on stuff. He’s just the best
So my friend got me into this game and i fell in love with it he gifted to me on steam and every day after school i would hop on and play with him this game is so perfect its easily a 10/10 for me
Oh man you're in for a fun ride if you picked up this game. Also, I assure you that all the cons you mentioned will go away after a while (after like a few promotions). The clunky terrain and glitchy spots are all part of the game, they are meant to be there, to add more to the experience, trust me, you'll get it. The classes are also very much customizable using perks and the 5 presets for each dwarf class. So, you CAN make a medic dwarf if you really need to. Also the pinging tool is fine. You can use it to scan all objects, enemies, fauna and flora and even find enemies in the dark. So it's not actually bad. But all of these are understandable from a newer player to the game and from a guy who plays all sorts of games all the time. So enjoy the ride! Rock and stone!
Me playing deep rock galactic for 600+ hours I would rate deep rock galactic 10/10 Best game I ever played engi is the best class, I don’t see them, adding any new classes in the near future, the medic dwarf we have re-supplies and red Sugar so a medic wouldn’t make much sense and the flying dwarf we already have Scout and the addition with the jet boots I don’t see them adding that
Driller not only has drilling abilties, but to suicide bomb into other dwarves, or just kill em infronta the drop pod, or while they get a resupply, or while they mine minerals , and more
personally, i find the cave generation perfectly fine. sure, there are some crappy cave designs you can get, but to me this is a plus. i love the challenge of figuring out how to get from point A to point B with what i have. this is also when you learn just how valuable the pickaxe really is. i also see it as the biggest encouragement for teamwork and cooperation in this game, moreso than the whole shooty-bug thing (though, that’s also important to learn). using not only your tools, but your teammates’ as well, it can feel sooo satisfying finding your way out of a bad spot or down a cliff. that to me is the most rewarding and thrilling part of this game. but of course, it’s not perfect. your cargo crate or jet boot box can be caught under the oil rig and rendered unretrievable, but it is what it is. damn you, management.

good to know those detonators will be paying out of pocket then!
to be fair, the ping tool is double use, you can use it to ping things to your team, or hold it out as an "assets important to DRG" wallhack so you can find your homies, resupply pods, drop pods, and other important things on a per mission basis (like the morkite refinery, dorretta, or the minehead). you can even set waypoints with it if you need to make a marker you can find later.
As a somewhat greybeard, I welcome all the noobs to enjoy this game. Rock and stone miners!
Rock and stone!
Rock & Stone!
Rock and stone!
I mean any game that you can play 200 hours of in 4 months is a 10/10 in my book
For karl!
I decided that this should be an entirely different comment from my original comment though this isn't that significant.
I just want to say thank you Macro your video made me remember why I played DRG and why I loved it, I haven't played it in a while but after writing this I will.
Thank you Macro, for everything. Rock and Stone!
DRG is truly the last "fun" video game that will ever exist. And that's all thanks to the overwhelmingly positive community and the amazing devs. I have much respect for Ghost Ship and Coffee Stain🙏
what do you mean by last and “fun”
@@poir7025 I mean that many developers are butchering games nowadays and this game is a very big exception. Its a bit of an exaggeration but you know what I mean
@@poir7025Yeah kinda weird how they are saying that it's essentially the last fun game to be released when there are definitely going to be games released in the future that are as fun if not more fun.
Why kind of braindead opinion is this?
Plenty of fun games came out after this game.
@@toolazytobeoriginal4587its an exaggeration dude, I think you know what I meam
The deluxe edition is on sale for $13 on PlayStation! (The reg price for the base game is $30)
As someone with 400 hours on DRG it's nice to see some larger creators check it out from time to time. There's a ton of room for skill expression and you can easily tell a greenbeard from a greybeard on any given class. ROCK AND STONE!
In defense of the pinging tool, I have multiple points.
1: It makes logical sense in the game that you would have a tool to point things out. Kind of not the annoying part to you but I think it's important to acknowledge
2: If you simply bring it up, then it shows you where the mule is, where the drop pod is, your teammates, etc.
Drinking a smart stout be like
I am really happy to see Macro doing this video, ROCK AND STONE BROTHERS!
Usually I would watch your "For Noobs" videos because I was a noob in that game wanting to learn from you. I watched this video to see a noob teach fellow noobs the basics of the game while a veteran watches.
Love you Macro, keep it up! Rock and Stone!!
Finally this game is getting the popularity it deserves
9:09 scout is the medic
The perks are what you want to be do you want to be a brawler there is a perk for that make your own role
Glad to see more youtubers and streamers playing Deep Rock. it's truly one of the most wholesome communities of all time.
Macro made a drg video. Litterally how ??? Thought this game was not Known by the big content creators !
Respect, And don’t forget, rock and stone
Aldo driller main, 300h player, and still, my favourite game. Strong 10000000/10
I’m surprised people are still being introduced to deep rock after all this time, such a gem.
9:08 I feel like a medic dwarf would invalidate all need for red sugar and make resupplies significantly less useful, and having a flying dwarf would just completely invalidate scout unless light is needed
I hope the head of brains at r&d make some new equipment for the dwarves at some point
In the hub, there is a catwalk in the roof by the massive window. There is a thing up there that lets you disable gravity for a little. Also the scout is my favorite as a titanfall 2 fan
Thank you very much for that video and what an amazing, good vibes song at the start. Really made my day, thank you! :)
W Macro for making a song just for us dwarves. ❤
the major benefits to this game is actually the dev team, they keep the community updated on both discord and twitter but also do live events on the TH-cam which is just awesome!!
also deep dives lead to oveclocks which allows further customization to your guns and paired with the skill tree you can make every dwarf unique
also can we talk about the battle pass? that shit is fire!!
levelling up correlating to statues is epic and finding all the secrets in the hub is awesome, like the jet boots and anti gravity like who thought of adding that it's crazy??
FOR KARL, ROCK AND STONE !! ❤
(I LOVE THIS GAME)
I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THE MODS...
The amount of new players that will start from this will be insane
keep in mind that he already gave it a 9/10 without mentioning weapon overclocks, you know, *arguably one of the best parts of the game* , even solving some of the cons mentioned in this video (spicing the game up for veterans, more dwarf variety)
He hasn’t played enough to get there I’m guessing, maybe a part 2 would be good if he sticks with it
I can say, as a Scout main, most of my deaths are from my dumb ass messing up my grappling hook.
Rock and Stone Dwarves! And remember never to drink Leaf Lovers! Unlike Macro (drank a Leaf Lover on stream).
Leaf Lovers Special is my favourite beer though.
Love this game, so glad to see you picking it up!
i remember first playing this game on gamepass when it came out like a year ago, good times :)
bro this is the best game ever, it is so underated. i remember playing this with my bro and we kept dieing because we sucked XD
Seeing Macro AND SMii7y play DRG in the same day was a blessing
Rock and Stone brother!
Always nice to see new miners find out about the company and having a blast!
...speaking of blast, driller for life baby. You can't tell me what to do, I'll blow scout up if I want to!
One of my favorite guys to mess around with the homies
Huge fan watching your content for 2-3 years love you man
I love how DRG is getting the recognition it finally deserves :> ROCK N STONE!!!
ROCK AND STONE!!!!
I was like: Hmm maybe Macro doesn't know DRG thst well yet...
But then came the song...❤
This game is amazing and so underated.
Now this explains all the greenbeards ive had to play with
Such an underrated game.
Fr, it deserves to be in the top 10 most concurrent players. Glad its actually getting recognition now though
Finally dude it took you so long
We're rich
Mushroom
Macro, can we get in depth guides for each character? Spidey-Dwarf for Noobs?
9:05 do not add more dwarves
add more weapons ,perks, overclocks and modifiers
4 dwarves are plenty there is no reason to add more, we just need more of everything else, like in tf2 yknow the game thats watched overwatch die twice
With the overclock system and how every class has 3 primary and secondaries which all have their own unique performances and upgrades alongside 4 throwables, an additional class would be tricky to add, plus a medic class would be game breaking with how health is balanced already
The devs aren’t going to add more classes, it would go against the game design
They want the ideal team to be one of each class, so adding a 5th means there will always be one class missing and that creates arguments, like when you pick someone in OW and your team tells you “that class sucks, get off it”. The game is really careful to walk around land mines which would make players argue which results in everyone being so polite to each other and it’s awesome
Also a “flying class” is pretty much just scout with the right upgrades/overlcocks.
I just bought this on sale a few minutes ago, its less than $10 until the 17th when its normally $30. Hoping I have some fun.
Macro missed out on a prime opportunity to say "Ya greenbeards" instead of "Ya noobs"
LETS GO, FOR ROCK AND STONE BROTHERS
I started playing this back in march the seasons last longer too i could have finished season 3 plaguefall season pass but i stopped playing the game i gotta get back into it i grinded the hell outta it tho all the way up past the easter event
6:42
Thats why i always have the hoverboots perk for emergency landings
It can even be used for a double grapple if the cooldown for the grapple hook is short enough
Deep Rock Galactic deserves the same amount of love and praise that Baldur's Gate 3 is getting⛏
Drg is one of the few games that makes people interact positively most of the time but in my 100 hours currently I've only ran into two people that blamed the team for a mission fail and immediately disbanded before anyone could speak but almost every other interaction has been fun
This game is like if TF2 and Minecraft had a baby...
I have been hoping for this video for so long. Thank you Macro!
Glad I bought this during the Summer Sale, rock on!
I just started playing deep rock and this is just perfect!
ROCK AND STONE, TO THE BONE
I only knew you for your Overwatch content. I didn’t know you play good games too!!
STONE AND ROCK…..hold on
been watching for like 5 years and I don't know what it was about this video that made me realize how important macro has been to me for all these years. I remember pretending to have played overwatch and becoming friends with who is now my best friend over your videos. every upload gives me so much joy and I'm just not ready for the day he stops uploading.
It’s hilarious how I just got this game 6 days ago, became a legend miner, and now my favorite TH-camr posted a “For Noobs” video on it 😂
Should have been called “Deep Rock Galactic for Green Beards”. ROCK AND STONE MARCO!
There may be only four dwarves, but each dwarf can play many sub-classes that specialize in different things. I consider that infinitely many dwarves.
boy, there are overclocks, deep dives and much much more waiting for you.
Engineer is my favorite class simply because his late game gear is amazing. Sure, at the start he was my least liked class because of the lackluster shotgun, but i have grown to love it and his later weapons literally turn him into gilgamesh the consumer of reality.
Cough 25% spread shotgun cough. :D
@@ThePianist51 Huh? If this means that the shotgun is bad, its not once you get to tier 3 and if it means its good, i agree. (After you get tier 3, of course)
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR AGES
i've always wanted a game that's like destiny two and starfield and has a good community, but this just seems fun to play
that the one and lonely intro went hard asf
Engineer: Murder
Driller: Murder (including teammates)
Gunner: Not much but it's honest work
Scout: Errand boy (also probably dead from driller)
I got this game a few days ago and I gotta say a lot of the time Bosco is more useful than a teammate. He’s got rockets, never runs out of ammo, can go anywhere, can revive you at any time, can go carry heavy loads, will dig dirt for you, can shine lights on stuff. He’s just the best
So my friend got me into this game and i fell in love with it he gifted to me on steam and every day after school i would hop on and play with him this game is so perfect its easily a 10/10 for me
Finally more drg content from eny one
You got to make a deep rock galactic for noobs
There is definitely room for all 4 classes having a deep dive, if you will.
YES
You will hear some story in DRG when DRG Rough core comes out, and with season 5 in original DRG
Me playing deep rock galactic for 600+ hours I would rate deep rock galactic 10/10 Best game I ever played engi is the best class, I don’t see them, adding any new classes in the near future, the medic dwarf we have re-supplies and red Sugar so a medic wouldn’t make much sense and the flying dwarf we already have Scout and the addition with the jet boots I don’t see them adding that
Driller not only has drilling abilties,
but to suicide bomb into other dwarves, or just kill em infronta the drop pod, or while they get a resupply, or while they mine minerals , and more
YES FINALLY WE GOT THE DRG UPLOAD! I have been waiting for
personally, i find the cave generation perfectly fine. sure, there are some crappy cave designs you can get, but to me this is a plus. i love the challenge of figuring out how to get from point A to point B with what i have. this is also when you learn just how valuable the pickaxe really is.
i also see it as the biggest encouragement for teamwork and cooperation in this game, moreso than the whole shooty-bug thing (though, that’s also important to learn). using not only your tools, but your teammates’ as well, it can feel sooo satisfying finding your way out of a bad spot or down a cliff. that to me is the most rewarding and thrilling part of this game.
but of course, it’s not perfect. your cargo crate or jet boot box can be caught under the oil rig and rendered unretrievable, but it is what it is. damn you, management.
