    The cave looks quarried..like it could have been a source of rock for someone at one point in time

      Thank you for watching! Certainly possible some of the rock was removed from the cave for human use. Basalt does break into jagged, angular pieces on it's own due to the numerous stress cracks that form as it is cooling.
