- Hello friends! How are you today?
In recent weeks, I have found it difficult to post a content. With all the uncertainty and with everything that's going on with the world right now. I find it so hard to find words.....but at the same time, I think we need some meditative pause and a calm break to handle all worries around us.
And i hope that this video will bring you a sense of calm today.
In this video, I'm sharing our birthday celebration. Our birthdays are one day apart so we always celebrate it together. :)
Please stay safe everyone! I hope that love, kindness and wisdom will win and everything will be resolved peacefully soon.

Carrot Cake Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 300g shredded carrots, 4 eggs, 300g of brown sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 200 ml vegetable oil, 250g flour, 2 tsp baking soda, 2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp salt.
Cream cheese frosting:
_ 115g butter, 200g of cream cheese and 375 powdered sugar
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 340F
-Make sure that all the ingredients are at room temperature
-Shred the carrots and mix sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla. Mix the ingredients well
- Add the dry ingredients, flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Mix together well
- Divide the batter between 20cm line and greasedcake pans and bake for 30-40 minutes.
-Cool the cakes in the pan for 10 mins before transferring to cool completely.
Cream cheese frosting
- While the carrot cake is cooling.
- In a stand mixer or a bowl, add the butter and beat in medium speed for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cream cheese and beat for another 2 minutes.
-Add the sugar in thirds and mix well.
_ Place the frosting in the fridge for 30 minutes or when you're ready to decorate the cake.

Happy birthday you two! I just want you to know that your videos are making me calmer and more willing to make changes I need to do. My house used to be pretty organized, and I would spend a great deal of time making it beautiful but when we lost our daughter 6 years ago I lost my will to do anything. But your beautiful home and life in these pieces you do have spurred me to get up and get organized. For the first time in a long while I want a beautiful, organized home. And I've already made major changes in how I clean and even am enjoying it again! Thank you! Please keeping up the good work; there are many like me that love your videos!
