phase 1 is extremely good, the moveset is difficult for sure but there's a certain rhythm to it when you get it down, you just have to get it first
the only move I think is a lil problematic is the double slash into cross slash attack, i didn't figure out how to dodge it and instead relied on deflecting tear to deal with it. cool mechanic that made this more enjoyable but idk how anyone would be able to deal with the attack without the tear
the problems arise in 2nd phase, 2 major ones in my opinion that bring the fight down from an s to a low c high d tier
first is the constant after effects after literally every attack, it's just too much. the amount of shit on screen and shit you need to dodge is just overwhelming to a ludicrous degree
I feel this could've been fixed by only applying the after effect on certain attacks, either big/slow attacks with huge impact or simply just combo enders
the 2nd problem is the clone/phantom attacks, I simply just don't know what the timing is to dodge them and found panic rolling to be my best bet
these need to be better telegraphed and shouldn't be combined with the after effects, it's just too much shit
I don't even have a problem with the nuke or meteor slam, only other bullshit attack is the one that pulls you in and does an aoe, I simply don't know how to dodge the spikes out the ground and I dont even think I need to explain why the phase 2 version is even worse (it's just more shit to deal with)
all in all it's another malenia situation (although even she's tame in comparison to this) where I could see the vision, how truly good the boss could've been but it's so bogged down by trying to do too much
this boss probably deserves an f or low d tier but I'm so biased toward phase 1 and the potential I saw in phase 2
so I rated the phases separately, phase 1 is s and 2 is low c (although it probably deserves less like a said)
I hope they patch him sooner or later and hopefully it realizes the true potential I see in this boss - เกม
