Wemby looks to be a future great. But to just assume he’ll have a roster like Duncan had is a great leap of faith. Not saying it won’t happen, but many great sports stars never had a supporting cast capable of winning more than one ring in their careers.
I’m pulling for Wemby and Popovich though.

Zvonimir is older than Wemby, and will turn 21 when the season starts.
Wemby and him were both playing against professional veterans at the age of 16-17.
But now Wemby is widely viewed as the future face of the NBA, and possibly the next contender to be the GOAT, scoring 23.5 points, with 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 Stocks post All-Star Break, playing against the best teams in the world.
While Zvominir is still playing in college against other college boys, averaging 5.5 points per game.
He's got potential, but he's shorter, with a smaller wingspan than Wemby.
There are levels to this thing.
