Just as thank you for posting this as it solved my problem on my Flash USB memory stick. Standard format is usually always fat32 but that not always the case.

Re-format the USB drive if there's nothing import on it and transfer again! So sorry this comment is a month late. Didn't see this until now. Let us know if we can help you with anything else!
