- This is the episode where Luke and who was thought to be his evil doppelganger "Fluke" meet for the first time (It turns out that Fluke and Luke were one in the same). I worked as Anthony Geary's double in this episode, and several more whenever Luke and Fluke were onscreen together. While you can't see or hear me, you can see my hand, my knee, my legs (like in the thumbnail), etc. This video is all of our scenes edited together.

The moment I saw the scene of the guard just appearing in front of Luke in another scene, I figured ti might just be the guy playing his double. hehe. Nice work.
This was a great story but I just wish this wasn't all in his head.
Should have been Bill Eckert. That would have made much more sense.
That was the plan originally but Ron Calivarti changed it because fans figured it out right away.
They did Tony Geary so dirty, and I hope he never comes back.

@@Prof_Tickles92 The storyline was great. One of the few moments were a storyline wasn't predictable. GH is so trash now I can't even watch it.
I hate that they rewrote the Fluke storyline just because people were figuring out that Fluke was supposed to be Bill Eckert. They didn’t have to make him Bill. They could have made him another impostor entirely. Making him turn out to be Luke made no sense at all.
What's the name of the song that plays at the end? Anyone?
I'm thinking this anthony Zachara from the behavior of fake luke. Anthony geary is doing a great acting job.

Guess this was in Luke's head, as there wasn't 2 separate people and it was Luke dealing with a psychosis

It was originally going to be Bill Eckert alive, but apparently the producer read the chatter online guessing it. He changed it up.
@@spyderd8165 it made no sense. Considering they kept saying it wasn't going to be another DID story. They should of stuck with Bill Eckert.
@@sxnder I was not happy that it went this way. Even Julian Jerome had interactions with him when they were going with Bill Eckert. Jerome had even stated to “Bill” one time about their paths crossing off camera before “Bill” came back. It was going to be Bill for the longest time. They really destroyed Luke with the storyline they went with.
Stefan Cassadine would have been a good possibility.
Dang He really needed to finish this story line before he left!! I know he had back issues and had to leave. but the story line he was on was great!!!!

@@nomadicoloursthis was Luke's last scene before a several-month pause in the story as TG had to be gone for back surgery. During this hiatus, the fans figured out who the Fake Luke was (Bill Eckert) and the show didn't like that fans had already figured it out, so they and TG devised an alternate ending in which Evil Luke was the real Luke with a split personality, which is the ending we ended up with that many didn't like. I think that's what the person you responded to was referring to.
@Matuatay thats exactly right. Could you elaborate a bit more on why Tony and Gh decided to change the ending? I didnt know that people caught on that it was Bill Eckert. I really HATED the way that story ended. So from 2014- 15 most of this was all in his head? All becuz he murdered his parents as a late teen and blocked it out for decades then suddenly it drove him mad? Wtf??
@@100-f7m In real life tony suffred a back injury. He told in an interview he didnt want to spend his reamining life on a soap/ He wanted to retire.

The original storyline of Fluke being Bill Eckert should have kept but no RC Changed it

Fluke was Luke. His childhood trauma caused him to develop a dark persona in order to cope. This persona took control and he began hallucinating. He was talking to Bill Eckerd’s Corpse
It was Luke all along with a split personality they changed the storyline completely when fans started to figure out who Fluke was so the writers changed it to Luke having a split personality after killing his parents

GH is recycling storylines, this in some ways is very similar to the Ryan/Kevin storyline going on now, just with a few minor tweeks.
They've been recycling storylines for over 2 decades lol

What if i was to say as your answer who disguises as Luke who isn't Luke Spencer and also the real natural birth father to his son Det. Nathan West after Victor Cassadine's paternity test was revealed that Victor Cassadine isn't Nathan West's father. The Unscrambled Answer: "N-A-H-S-O-T" "R-Y-L-R-A" onwho is "FLUKE SPENCER" in disguise? You have 72 hours to unscramble the GH villian's character's name if correct. Good luck. :-)
The easy answer as to who Fluke is would be Bill Eckert, due to Fluke's statement that he has spent a significant amount of time ("years") studying Luke's behavior in order to pull this off; Bill Eckert died in 1993, so he's had the time. Another, remote possibility is Grant Putnam (AKA "Snowman"), who was last seen being hauled off to the insane asylum in 1988 by Robert Scorpio after kidnapping Anna.
Tony Geary was promised a great storyline which wouldn’t involve Luke & Laura, as a condition of him coming back. Ron Calivarti was really going to do Bill Eckart, but fucking changed his mind because the fans figured it out.
So they went with Fluke.
A cop-out which ruined Luke’s character in my opinion.
I hope Tony Geary never comes back.
Geary himself admitted he was glad it wasn't Bill Eckert. This plot twist was so much better. Storylines shouldn't be predictable. The show is complete utter garbage now, haven't watched in years.
I hope he doesn't either. The new Luke is not likeable at all. Tracey????? Really?? Totally ridiculous
