The Laura character would’ve stood up for him first and foremost and been included in the trial, without a doubt, in any decent script. Not Tracy Quartermaine. Oh, and rewriting scripts never works. Luke had hoped Laura was pregnant back in the day before they married and thought she might be- and he was a decent, empathetic, loving father for many years. Jealous. But not a pathological liar and psycho/or sociopath. He was also insanely devoted to Laura, not a serial philanderer. I only hope Tony Geary is happy about the poetic license (hatchet) he was allowed to take to his role as Luke, and that his good friend Ms. Elliott padded her bank account for a gig in a part that should never have been resurrected as it was. At the expense of loyal fans of forty years I might add. Sorry. But no one EVER questioned any of these people’s acting abilities. We loved them ALL for that. And the writing during the first fifteen years was stellar and took soaps in an unmatched, wonderful direction; crazy at times but still believable -which took great talent. Without realizing it, I think Geary and Francis’ roles as Star crossed lovers is among the all time best-including big screen. But we didn’t ever expect them to pose as writers, turn a daytime drama into Crime and Punishment or allow the deconstruction snd demolition of every character in General Hospital and their stories we loved so very much…for decades.

Tony Geary is in a class by himself. 🤣
Never saw this. Me traveling the world non stop and missing all this :)
Damn you would think that the judge and the attourneys would be on HIS side considering the fact that they look like him.
Seems like this was a message. Are we our own judge, critic, friend, and enemy?
Luke always hated himself so it makes perfect sense
I wonder if this will happen to me when I die. I don't think I will win.
Put on your listening ears...thats what Judge Judy says😂😂
Jesus Christ, I’ll be dying of laughter, this is way too awesome!!!!!
Should have had Scotty been defense council he knew he would lose right away!
Just looking threw the years and realizing GH got so stupid in later years not at all like the 79 80 day's
You got that right
Do u want it too? What are the writer's think or where they all out for the count? Wow ouch! Thank God I stopped watching years ago.
Hahaha me too
Why didn’t Luke get a face lift & at least try to remain attractive
