Hannah! I must gush for a second: Okay, so The Night Circus is one of my favorite books of all time as well, so I have to gush about this other book I found that had the same kind of vibe. I'm not sure if you've read it, but "Beasts of Extraordinary Circumstance" by Ruth Emmie Lang is AMAZING! I'm pretty sure it was a 2017 release, but it's an adult fantasy/magical realism stand alone about this very peculiar man named Weylyn Grey who lives alone in a hut in the the woods, and the story of his life. It is so emotionally entrancing and I don't want to give any spoilers, but there is a heavy theme of lasting love throughout it. It is magical and whimsical and so good. I'm sorry, I'm just obsessed with this book and want more people to read it! Apologies if you've already read it, I watch so many different booktubers that it's hard to keep up on what everyone has read xD

I feel you so hard on Magnus and the Red Scrolls of Magic. I adore him so much, it's unreal and I'm so excited to read more about him (and his relationship with Alec but mostly him ;P). I actually felt the exact same way as you said when I was reading The Bane Chronicles - I was so worried that I'd read something that would ruin his character for me, especially since I have some big issues with CC's writing in general so I was crossing my fingers so hard as I was reading it. And I guess it worked out because not only did I not stop loving him but I actually ended up loving him MORE? I didnt think that was possible but it happened and I was so happy about it. It's why I'm so excited for this trilogy and because I want to see how book!malec will hold up (show!malec didnt work for me as much as I had hoped) and yeah. Chain of Gold is also on my list and I'm looking forward to the Ghosts of the Shadow Market wrap up - pretty much all the Shadowhunter books coming out really. I just love this universe a lot.

Chain of Gold is my number one most anticipated book of 2019. If it gets pushed back, I will literally lose my mind. I've been waiting for it since 2013, and I know I'm going to love it. I'm already obsessed with the characters and I just can't wait to see where Cassie is going to take the story. The cover is so beautiful, I can't wait to get a physical copy. I genuinely can't believe it's actually coming out. I personally didn't like the Night Circus, but I'm so happy for you that a new Erin Morgenstern book is coming out. I'll probably read it too ngl.
I love the Witchlands series! I would definetly reccomend reading sightwitch, it's a novella but it is Ryber's story and I found the setting and history fascinating, it definetly adds to the world building. I also can't wait for King of Scars!!!
