    Just cut a strip of metal flash tape to the same width as the male connector and wrap it around until you have a perfect snug fit. Result is very clean and professional looking. Never had a problem and still rocking the 7-plus today. Happy new year!

      @Banda Jeevan Reddy Just cut a piece of aluminium foil tape and wrap it around the connector. Here is a picture:

    Really shouldn't have to do all that for an expensive phone. As you point out at the beginning it's a desing flaw by Nokia. They used to be great phones. But now I stay away from them.

      @@roxannemcv4259 In fact, you need to solder the connector. This is a technical error of this model. The new one will also be loose. But in this phone you need to climb through the display and not everyone will take the risk.

    Note: Enable CC (captions) on the video for more information!
    Note: After certain Android update, fast charging will be disabled if you use the phone while charging!
    To continue fast charging, leave your phone without using it.
    This is made to prevent excessive overheating.
    To prolong battery life, I recommend that you use another charger with less current ( 0.5 - 1 Ampere ) and only use fast charging in case of an emergency!

    • @milind83
      @milind83 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@evoifx5894 i tried as mentioned in video but it didn't work for me. So the last option left for me was to visit a local mobile repair shop & replace usb port. After repair now there is no problem at all. Charging is just perfect. Also one very important suggestion that now i am using magnetic usb cable. Hence I don't have to remove usb cable again & again (as this was making the port loose). As i have also read that even after replacing usb port it becomes loose after 6-12 months. So best is to use magnetic cable. Now i am using magnetic cable since 3 months and there is no problem at all.
