I am currently carrying a vintage Gucci canvas hobo bag… it’s perfect bc the strap is wide and can be adjusted from shoulder to crossbody length. My current favorite. Also, I recently tried on the new Versace repeat bag in the small size in store. It comes with 2 straps, on shoulder and one crossbody. The leather felt really nice, and the silver hardware tones down the usual flashiness of Versace. It felt super comfortable while wearing as a crossbody. Very much on my wishlist right now!

The Hampton hobo was a popular one in the clip-style generously sized hobo category. I don't know the name, but there are a few older Coach hobos that are more or less an unstructured LV Loop bag. Something about that Givenchy hobo, though...
I tried on the Saint Laurent hobo you show in the video and I love it and came close to buying it. I just want it to have silver or black hardware - not gold.
I’ve been using my Evelyne 29 as my hobo bag 😅 with a leather shoulder strap or a shoulder chain for the last two years. I adore it 😊 I love hobo bags💕 So elegant
I love the YSL icare I got that over the LV loop it lays much nicer against the body and is more comfortable. Also the LV loop looked a little bulky but didn’t actually carry that much.
I tried on the croissant LV bag in a vintage store recently (I described this to hubby as "on trend" due to its crescent shape)! It looked good on me, but I bought a vintage cross body Drouot LV instead as I wear cross body most, and it was substantially cheaper too.
I have the LV Artsy MM in mono, vintage (before the vachetta was added to the top). Absolutely love ❤ But big Bertha isn’t for everyone. If you aren’t at least 170cm tall with a strong build avoid! So many people purchase but can’t carry. She’s big and heavy.
Oh, I almost got that Givenchy! The larger size, not the mini. It was my 2nd choice. I got a Gucci medium Aphrodite instead. But I love the padlock. I just didn't like that it didn't have an internal pocket and the closure was nothing more than the heavy padlock. No magnet or anything. The Aphrodite was cheaper than the Jackie but has a similar shape, and the piston lock closure on the Jackie seemed fiddly to me when I tried it in the store. I love a good hobo, they are so functional with a cooler look (imo) than a tote.
Love the look of a hobo, but I get frustrated when my bags fall over…so I’m thinking I should pass on this trend! Always love and appreciate you and your videos! Thanks Jesse!!!!🥰💖
I went for vintage on Saturday and purely by lucky 😁😁 Bought 2 leather bags almost new for £10 😅 A total steal 🙈 A Fossil Maddox and a Bally (this one didn't check for the model yet) 😬 The Bally it's a hobo style😅 Not a Gucci nor a LV but the leather on both it's amazing in quality 😍

I had an early 2000's raisin trim ii 35 togo that I bought preloved, and it just didnt work for me. The strap wouldn't stay on my shoulder (I read somewhwre that back in the day Hermes would add some felt to the strap for folks). I had it for sale for an entire year, but could not give that bag away!! Ended up selling to a reseller at a substantial loss. It was too large for me, but i suspect purples are hard to sell -- at least in my experience they are.
The hobo bag nobody mention anymore and therefore gives you a unique look nowadays: GUCCI hobo bag INDY (from which you can remove the tassels easily and replace them for example with a big lock)
Probably not. I remember having a huge Guess, zebra print thing about 15 yrs ago and when it was full, I’d get annoyed at rummaging around trying to find stuff in it. If it wasn’t full, it would slide off my shoulder. Been there, done that, pass.
