Lukas, first, you look better and better each video. I’m an RN and I possibly see your face a little differently than many. I can see past inflammation, which looks about 55% resolved. To me anyhow. May I ask; as the muscle transplanted may end up, once all the inflammation has resolved, a little larger than the unaffected side, has your surgeon mentioned debulking? You may not need it, and it will be months before you get a look at the permanent result, but I am just wondering as I have never seen a free flap like yours done. With my LeFort, my surgeon offered to do a small, surgical “tweaking,” but I was a kid and was so happy with just looking like a normal kid. When I was a child, I had a LeFort osteotomy procedure for a common craino-facial syndrome. I remember being “swollen” for months, and it took over-a year for sensation to return. I am so happy and relieved to see how symmetrical your mouth moves, and your smile is adorable.
I have had several extensive surgeries over the years - a couple of the locations remain numb-ish even 10, 20+ years later. It’s frustrating sometimes when I get an itch and scratching doesn’t help but that doesn’t happen often, thankfully. Good luck on your full recovery.
I don’t mean to be rude but what happened to your face before surgery? It’s just a question I’m not trying to be rude. Sorry if it sounds rude I’m just curious.
I feel like we’ll see major changes in 2-3 months from now One question, is there any downside to having a new face? Like is there anything you’ll miss?
Who said makeup not a thing I do understand but like just stfu it’s a fucking question and I didn’t say it was fake I’m just making a assumption from what I see in the videos the puffiness is different on his cheeks some videos
Your face is healing really well. I’m so happy for you!
