just wanted to warn you of a broken bug, the inconspicuous perk has a broken interaction with the rabids (green eyed mud zombies) where they will still path towards you and push you even when active causing the perk to fail (as any movement even if not by your command breaks the invis) or will outright still see you even at full invisibility. This seems to be due to something with vanilla and the rabid's increased sensitivity. The issue seems to go away the higher your stealth is though.
The endings are so calming and the addition of you talking at the end about the whole journey trough the whole 2 in game days and what is coming is perfect touch. As i said before with every new series we get something better 🙂
There is a box truck further down the vehicle magazones line for hauling large amounts of stuff. Could be good for when you do move or for super large mining trips.
There is a perk that increases the crafting skill lvl by using a skill that’s related. ie killing zombs with club increases club perk while also increasing club crafting skill
The perk is called insight,also build a training dummy and hit it to increase skills by using item. Sorry didn’t give tip earlier just worked it out myself
Sorry for the mild backseating, but truly - scrap the tools and weapons and so on that you find and don't need; each item scrapped that you can't personally craft increases the skillgain in the crafting talent for that - which gets you ever closer to another Perk Point you can use in things that matter! Thanks for this great series.
My Father in law referred to it as The Pit too - I think it's technically an inspection pit but everyone knows what The Pitt is! My FIL had one in his home garage - he was cleaning leaves off the roof and fell through - fortunately there was a car over the pit otherwise it would probably have done him some serious damage!

The buggy is actually fine, it's the armor mod that you added that makes it crash on ramps. It should be fine once you remove it. Was going to comment this on the previous video but it disappeared on me xD
If you can turn a treasure chest by taking it one poi into another chest, you can turn a common chest into a treasure chest if you put it in a place well under the ground.
As a fellow migraine sufferer I totally understand and pro tip if you get a bandana and fold it into a headband shape and tie it around your head and put the knot at the base of your skull it helps relieve some of the pressure build up along with meds cuts the time in half, for me at least.
Red Beard and his team have made some good improvements in the new version ,coffer makers and soda fountains all give drinks like water coolers now(needing a jar) as well as still being a loot container :)
based on reports in the discord, the Hexagun doesn't play well with optics mods, so you wouldn't want that red dot as much as you may think. it's a shame the inconel mace doesn't show the spikes mod yet, i'm sure that would look pretty metal.
I always throw a fortifying grip on my wrench or something. I call it my emotional support tool that I can hug while hiding in a corner, hiding from zombies, if it all hits the fans. Honestly, in a mod like Afterlife, it seems like that could be very useful in the early game especially.
The way crafting quality works is, suppose you unlock something at skill 20. Then you need skill 120 to craft this thing at quality 32000. And then it grows way slower until quality maxes at 65535 at skill level 1000 (all crafts reach max quality at level 1000 only, even stone tools)
The 4x4 is squishy as well, they need to fix that, the motorcycle is the strongest vehicle in terms of running over or smashing through things like cinderblocks

I feel like red beard coded this mod after their ex had just taken their dog from them in court... from needing thousands of magazines to make anything decent, the wasteland being just utterly inaccessible, stun batons not being repairable, and the dune buggy being more delicate than Fry's Scooty Puff Jr from futurama.... bro coded with *spiteeeeee* lmao
i finaly just got the 4x4 in v1, never been in a rush for anything than motorcycle. and oh man went from 100% armor to 0% on one trip to the dessert. motorcycle takes less damage. 4x4 is pretty pointless to drive with how much it takes damage, full burn and how many repair kits it takes to heal
I was really hoping to see anything past the early mid-game for this mod. This feels very much like you’re in the early mid game, where you’ve just gotten past the bike, and are starting to expand the terrain you can cover. I know it’s been several horde nights, but it feels like your playthrough is only roughly reaching day 14 compared to a normal play-through. But I guess if it’s all just grind, it’s worth moving past it into something new.
My Dad called them grease pits or lube pits essential for all mechanical work at first when I see him digging this huge hole in the garage floor, I asked what you doing this for he replys digging my way to China, the things parents say to young minds.
Idk if its the armor mod on the buggy or not, but the dmg seems more than a 4x4. Spit balling an idea, maybe stun repulsor mod might help in the wasteland if you're going to use the stun baton as backup. Maybe try to counterfeit cash for the dukes? idk, could be worth a shot.

I’m currently playing the war3zuk mod and I’ve also been getting the random speed boosts, haven’t figured out why yet. Also of note, I do believe the Buggy is better in War3zuk as well
Afterlife is a great early-game modpack that turns 7D2D into a different experience, for sure. Hopefully someone the future will bring an equally amazing late-midgame and late-game improvement to the modpack and firmly enthrone Afterlife as one of the best enhacements for the game. Either way, the Fun Pimps should be taking notes - this team has done a whole bunch of balancing work in producing a more challenging 7D2D experience and there's no shame in copying what's successful if your goal is to entertain.

I'm already clearing t6 infected POI's with double sledge and stun baton in vanilla. If I could make sure every swing was a stun I would never even take damage. Course that inability to repair them would kinda suck. Is it just me or do the zombie cops respect your rights a lot better than the living ones did? 😛 Well at least you could use your new vehicle to transport stuff between bases. If you back away from a room far enough you can snipe enemies without waking their neighbors. (Or just use a compound crossbow with steel bolts.) That hexagun does look pretty sweet, wouldn't mind having one IRL. Not that it holds any more shells than normal, 6 is already standard on semi shotties, it just looks nice.

That mace certainly seems to be a beast, too bad you didnt display the damage difference on each first. But even if they were roughly equal, that third mod alone would add a nice dps boost. I cant wait to see how you decide to go about ending the series. The wastelands seems to be like a true hellscape of unending swarms. Maybe load up on all weaponry and ammo and pick a poi to declare as a sign of temcam and go full invasion force all or nothing to get there and get your answers? Might be an interesting twist to lead into a darkness falls series to tie them together.
Just a thought, how about some metal spikes around the outer edge of the roof but not on the spikes attached to the roof? And after the last day/horde just one more video with max quality/damage weapons & skills a day 7K day horde?
I've enjoyed this series, and my own playthrough of Afterlife, but it does get grindy and a "bit much" after awhile. My biggest gripe is hit boxes and zombies having insane reach. I know it's a TFP vanilla issue, but Khaine fixed it in DF, hope the creator of AL fixes it too.
Scrap the steel sledge and you can smelt the scraps! Also, you might have increased run speed after a kill with an automatic weapon (is a shotgun automatic?).
Tem, please try the M21 SOCOM before you end this series. I bought a blue quality and its a beast Sniper! Also, you should really get the gyro. We got one and went rooftop to rooftop in the wasteland. This was the most efficient way to grab poi loot while avoiding the random spawns in the street. We did Avery skyscraper and some regular pois like crack a books this way as well. For the lower ones, we would clear out the street zeds and then loot the poi after. We would come back with tons of ammo and about 100 literature fragments each run! Edit... Err nevermind all that lol. Just watched the outro 😅 Maybe you could do a little series comparing all of the different guns?
Has anyone figured out how to turn silver/gold/diams into cash? I have a bunch just collecting dust... Edit: nevermind you just turn them into bars and exchange at the cash machine

Yeah, the barrel covers the reticle circle. Makes headshots on jinking enemies a lot harder.

You could reduce the plblind spots at the horde base by making the windows 3 blocks wide and using the width to cut the corner.

The change of the terrain in the mine during the time lapse was nice.
