    Yeah! So many things to say. Definitely one of the coolest things I’ve seen on TH-cam. Those mods you made definitely seemed to be well engineered and needed.
    All these things lead to miles of smiles 😊

    Nice I'm doing the exact same engine swap except with a 71 spider 850. But I'll be doing a toyota rear end set up like the dwarf cars use in racing.

      My friend put a 215 CID aluminum V8 in a triumph spitfire. Pretty decent job snappy little car. I've seen six cylinder 850 Spyder I believe the motor was from a dino Ferrari.

    Excellent solutions, very happy that you can wring it out and enjoy it! (It IS half Suzuki now so you NEED to install some garish blue and red anodised bits :) )

    Your ingenuity, skill and solutions through this building process have been remarkable. You have lifted that little unassuming 850 shopping cart from a whatsit to the little sportscar Fiat meant it to be. Looks great! Fantastic soundtrack! Love it!

    Definitely a improvement, I own a 73 Fiat 850 and I don’t ever drive it because it’s so dam slow. Trucks get on my butt and pass me on double yellow lines.

    I bought my first car in 78. It was a white 71 850 Spider. My GF's father came to look it over cause he had experience fixing his Triumph GT6. Drove it and looked it over and said it looks alright, so I bought it for $300. All I had.. The seller even delivered it. Finally got my license a few months later and registered it. Brought it in to get inspected and they said it needed brakes. Got a family friend to do all the brakes for $80. Brought it back in to Fiat for inspection and they now said JUNK it. All the unibody sheet metal where the front suspension mounted to the body was crumbling from cancerous ROT! Fiat still owes me a convertible... And NOT one of their POS. 7 years old. What a shame. Hugo was a better car.

    Good one with the intake. I recently experienced this with my scooter engine swap. The original big airbox didn't fit, so I installed a cone filter. But it was so loud! I couldn't believe it, louder than the exhaust. So now I'm making up a smaller custom airbox too.

    Hello Jared! It's been awhile since I've seen one of your videos, they just aren't popping up. I have noticed that when I go to my "NOTIFICATIONS", your videos are there. You've done quite amount of modifications on this last project and it seems to have worked well for you. There is another You-tuber I watch call "BUILT OFFICIAL", he primarily does a lot of modifications, You two are my favorites because you both are very studious in your approach to accomplishing a goal, something i need to work on. Anyway, I look forward to watching and catching up with all the videos I have missed. A devout fan of you work and knowledge and the fact that you share it with all your fans.

    @Jerod_Helt I’ve already got a Gixxer 1000 and an RPM FNR box in a mini buggy. Thinking about building a road car. Currently the most interesting prospect in the classifieds is an 850 Spider, which led me here. Would you build that car again or look for a different donor?

    • @Jerod_Helt
      @Jerod_Helt  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    🌴 So after watching the complete build process and seeing the finished car I couldn’t help myself while sitting in my recliner saying that’s freak’n bad azz! I’ve been wanting to do something like this for years and when I came across your videos it was hell ya ! Most swap video’s don’t show the full process and you give a step by step view on how it was done , and it was great having Walter there for supervision 😄 I’m to old to take on a build like this now but it was sure fun watching you for fill your ambition, not only the build part but watching you enjoy the car on the open road , way to go 👍👊🏼
