Nice video as usual. Coming down to Dominical this fall to look for a place to live and to catch the general vibe and your videos are really helping me to get a feel for the area. Near the beginning of this video, I think you were trying to say "Yo conozco un restaurante en Uvita.." (I know a restaurant in Uvita that we can go to..) "Conocer" can mean "to know of..", "to be aware of" or "to be familiar with" like "¿Conoces a María?" (Do you know Maria?) or "No conozco Uvita" (I am not familiar with/have never been to Uvita.) Saber ("e.g. yo sabe" is also means to know but used when you are saying something related to information like "I know how to read" (Yo sé leer) FYI sometimes people just say: "Sé leer" and leave out the "I" which we obviously don't do in English. Anyway, you are doing a great job learning and also in communicating with the Spanish you have learned so far..For me going to a place and not knowing the language always kind of adds to the fun..Keep the fun and inspirational videos coming. I saw that you helped the woman in Punto Mala who's house was falling down. Looking forward to watching that video. Also thanks for picking up the trash. I do the same thing here everyday. I have a friend who recently cut theirs off because they said they were sick of them and was wondering if people raised a certain amount of money if you would be willing to do it? I bet you would feel a lot better and you can probably make a couple thousand dollars on top of it lol. Stay cool man and Pura Vida brother brother all day everyday🤙🏻
Keep hanging out and speaking Spanish with the Tica. She will teach you. Ask her how to say a complete phrase or sentence correctly and repeat it. Pick a phrase like" Donde vamos a comer almuerzo? Where are we going to eat lunch? Soon you will be speaking better Spanish. Keep up the good work.
