    Thanks a lot for the video. One correction, the reason for tying the cloth is to allow microbes to enter the pot while keeping dust and insects out. I am not sure if you need to cover the lid.

    Can we cook ambali in Steel pots and than rest it in clay pots? because when cooking in clay pots sometimes the seasoning of pots becomes too difficult as it is getting sticky in the bottom. Please answer. Does it reduce the microbial growth?

They have given the baby lots of antibiotics. Going by your teachings, Dr. Khader, the baby's gut bacteria is going to be ruined by those antibiotics. What can we do to help restore it? Can we give the same ambli but without dahi? Kindly treat this as IMPORTANT AND URGENT, PLEASE.

    D /Sir ,Madam
    ( 1) After completion of all procedure of Siridhanya Ambali preperation as per ur instruction, then how much time/hours we can eat this Ambali ? Can we eat this if remains after 20-30 hours ?
    ( 2) Second thing can we make Rava of 1 Kg Siridhanya in Mixure & use it for upto 8-10 days to make Ambali to avoid daily this mixure grinding or it's not necessary to make Rava ?

    • @MilletChefs
      @MilletChefs  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      1. Consume immediately after fermentation..... It doesn't stay fresh for 20-30hours.
      2. You can make rava and store it..... Making ambali with rava is your choice.... It can be made using whole grain n flour too.

    Helloo, I am a software engineer working in 2nd shift, from 11 30 AM to 9 30 PM. I thought making this ambali for 5 days at once and refregirate it as said by khadar vali sir. But in the morning, when I pack my lunch and dinner, I have to take ambali out of the pot and keep it in my steel tiffin box so that I can have my dinner before sunset in the office itself. Is it a good practice to do so?

    • @MilletChefs
      @MilletChefs  หลายเดือนก่อน

      First of all cooking at once for 5days and refrigerating isn't a good practice. Dr. Khadar sir never suggests such methods. Could you pls tell where did he refer to such method. Secondly once the microbial activity is over ambali turns watery which isn't a good sign to consume. It would become sour too. Prepare fresh. Consume as porridge (without fermenting) in the morning and as ambali(after fermentation) at night.

    One thing which i don't understand is fermentation is anaerobic reaction, meaning it does not need oxygen ( in certain cases the good bacteria thrive only when oxygen is not there), that's one of the reason why we soak things in water (it stops oxygen inside of the water), but here you say that these clay pots have holes that gives oxygen required for bacteria.

    • @MilletChefs
      @MilletChefs  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Water is nothing but H2O.... Here O means oxygen.

    If millet is in" Flour" form,does it also have to be soaked for 6 hours ?Cause i read "paka siri" book and it is said to only soak for 2 hours...

    • @MilletChefs
      @MilletChefs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Whole grain takes time to soak whereas the flour needs less time as its in powder form. So 2hours is sufficient. We generally prepare flour by presoaking the grains. This helps in reducing soaking time (15 to 30min enough) and infact very useful when you are in a hurry. Even Dr Khadar sir suggests making flour this way.

      If suffering from diseases dr khadar sir says we should eat only 5 positive grains(foxtail, kodo, little, barnyard n browntop).... If not having any issues one can even consume neutral grains like desi corn, finger millet, jowar, sorghum, pearl millet..... paddy rice and wheat come under negative grains..... Choose the grain wisely and make ambali.... We haven't use any other grain except the 5positive millets for making ambali.
