Also, for you and anyone else reading this as tired of Amazon shipping our expensive collectibles in paper bags/bubble mailers/etc as I've been, some of you may know this trick already, but for those who don't, here's a tip for mitigating Amazon's aforementioned incessant disregard for cardboard boxes!: If you're okay with paying the extra $3.99-ish to choose the gift bag option, do it! That will not only give your item a very thin layer of protection from the gift bag itself, but this will also almost always guarantee they will have to ship the gift-bagged item inside of a cardboard box! You can just look at the $3.99 as a sort of "insurance" fee or something, lol. Crazy we have to do all this just to get our stuff delivered safely/in a reasonable fashion, but hey, that *is* an option you can consider using if it's something you've been greatly anticipating and/or can't afford to risk it coming in damaged (i.e., no chance to exchange/high risk of selling out/etc)! Anyway, I hope that helps you and the rest of our fellow 4K collectors out there!! And by the way, you've earned a new subscriber😁👍

Yeah a little bit of debossing on the Steelbook would have went a long way but take nothing away from it it still looks amazing. I have to agree. Universal are really delivering some beautiful feature-rich sets. Only Warner and Paramount are coming close to the bar Universal have set. Hopefully, 2025 continues with some more fantastic releases. I'm hopeful Warner puts out a release like this for the Lethal Weapon quadrilogy. Another great video, Keith. Cheers, my friend.
I would love to see Warner Brothers do a collectors release for Lethal Weapon. Tell you the truth I would love to see them do it for the entire series. Never say never. I wouldn't imagine it'll be too hard for you to pick it up seeming you live in Germany. As for Robocop I will definitely look into the Steelbook release of it. Such a wonderful movie as well. Hi Keith, that's another great edition by Universal. Thanks for the unboxing. I really like the artwork of the box. However, I won't get this edition, since I already own the Turbine steelbook. Since Turbine's transfer is better, I'm quite happy with it and see no reason to double dip. I'm really quite excited for next year's releases. January and February already look quite promising. Can't wait to get my hands on Arrow's 4K release of Lifeforce with BOTH versions on 4K. I hope this will finally become a standard. I really hate it when studios release films on 4K but only offer their extended or directors cuts versions on blu ray.
I'm in the same boat as you. I love this film but already having the Turbine version I just can't justify a double dip for a nice package and an inferior 4k.
Yeah I completely understand. Like I said in the video the turbine 4K release is definitely the way to watch this movie. I couldn't believe how dark the universal release was. Sometimes it's even hard to make out any kind of detail. I think in a perfect world I would have the turbine Steelbook inside the collector's set. But despite the 4K transfer on the Universal release It's Still an edition that I am so happy to own. As for lifeforce yes I will definitely be picking that up. I'm not sure if arrow Video can out do what scream factory did with the 4K transfer but as you mentioned we are getting two versions of the movie and that alone is a reason to pick it up. Scream factory really have to stop doing that with their releases.

Normally Christian I would get it in a sturdy box but for some strange reason they decided to send it in a paper envelope. Even now I'm still amazed that nothing happened to it. I really hope you can pick one up on eBay. It goes without saying Christian don't go too crazy. I'm sure you will find one at a decent price
It's a great looking edition, Keith, and the movie is really good. I thought Ethan Hawke was great in this film. It's quite creepy as well. From packaging to the 4K transfer. You can highly depend on them. As for the Texas Chainsaw to be honest you have the definitive version which is second sight edition . Blum Horror are very hit or Miss for me. They can either deliver on an amazing horror or they can give you some of the worst horror movies ever made. This one is on the good side
I got a steelbook from amazon US in a box with zero packaging inside, it was literally loose inside. There were a few dents but I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of returning it. Absolutely ridiculous. I've got it on my wall with the rest of my friday the 13th steelbooks with magnetic tape and you can't notice the dents until its in my hands. Absolutely fuming but they still look nice on the wall. Amazon have to sort this nonsense out. Oh and didnt Derrickson do a hellraiser movie? Inferno i think, i might be wrong.

You have convinced me to buy this, I never knew this was released in this special edition until your video. I have the basic bare bones blu ray, definitely worth an upgrade by the sounds of it. I can't understand why Amazon uses such flimsy packaging for everything, especially fragile things like these.
Amazon are not the greatest when it comes to their packaging but this is definitely the first time I ever received a paper envelope. It's ridiculous and I'm so lucky nothing happened to this release. Speaking of the release I highly recommend looking into it. I'm not sure if they are still available because as I mentioned in the video there is only 2500 of them and normally universal releases sell out quite quickly. Hopefully they'll still there for you. This was a great film ! A sequel though ! That’s one of the reasons the film aaa so good it ended . Maybe a flash furward ! The psychic brother and sister ! Work for the fbi in homocide
Unfortunately it's a common thing with horror movies nowadays particularly ones that do well in the box office. They're always has to be a sequel. I trust the director and I'm sure he will come up with something quite unique. We will have to wait and see

Hey Lee. Yeah I have so many turbine releases in my collection and trust me when I say you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Everything about their releases are very special. From packaging to the 4K transfer. You can highly depend on them.
As for the Texas Chainsaw to be honest you have the definitive version which is second sight edition . It does not get better than that release so there's no point getting any other.

Blum Horror are very hit or Miss for me. They can either deliver on an amazing horror or they can give you some of the worst horror movies ever made. This one is on the good side

I got a steelbook from amazon US in a box with zero packaging inside, it was literally loose inside. There were a few dents but I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of returning it. Absolutely ridiculous. I've got it on my wall with the rest of my friday the 13th steelbooks with magnetic tape and you can't notice the dents until its in my hands. Absolutely fuming but they still look nice on the wall. Amazon have to sort this nonsense out. Oh and didnt Derrickson do a hellraiser movie? Inferno i think, i might be wrong.
Hey Kris. First off I'm so sorry to hear that happened to your Steelbook. But as you mentioned you have it mounted on your wall and you don't even notice. It's still doesn't excuse Amazon and how terrible their packaging can be. I would love to say they will get it sorted but I can't see it happening. You have convinced me to buy this, I never knew this was released in this special edition until your video. I have the basic bare bones blu ray, definitely worth an upgrade by the sounds of it. I can't understand why Amazon uses such flimsy packaging for everything, especially fragile things like these.
Amazon are not the greatest when it comes to their packaging but this is definitely the first time I ever received a paper envelope. It's ridiculous and I'm so lucky nothing happened to this release. Speaking of the release I highly recommend looking into it. I'm not sure if they are still available because as I mentioned in the video there is only 2500 of them and normally universal releases sell out quite quickly. Hopefully they'll still there for you. It's a wonderful horror. Very unique. Wonderful cast with a great story.
This was a great film ! A sequel though ! That’s one of the reasons the film aaa so good it ended . Maybe a flash furward ! The psychic brother and sister ! Work for the fbi in homocide
Unfortunately it's a common thing with horror movies nowadays particularly ones that do well in the box office. They're always has to be a sequel. I trust the director and I'm sure he will come up with something quite unique. We will have to wait and see
