I work for an NGO group commissioned to go there in a few weeks. We will just keep trying to improve things for these people until we're not needed anymore, but they're not being forgotten! Bureaucrats, politicians and corporations are the ones holding things up. The Koreans and the French have done nothing but take money from these countries and leave projects half-done. We'll hold them accountable in one way or another! There's more than one way to skin a skin-flint!

Hopefully the community leader/representative will initiate a community project for the people so they can uplift and upgrade their daily life. Like the lady says they just wanted to live like any other human does.

In English, the meaning is essentially the same. Day by day; hand to mouth. The understanding is the same.

Um país dominado pelos mais ricos, onde a Lei favorece quem pode pagar, onde o pobre, vai morrer pobre, onde a desigualdade é notória, onde o povo aceita ser explorado. Essa gente precisa de um líder urgente.

Bill Cosby you are real of Cambodia people. I'm from Cambodia and from poor family but I try to work and tell the truth thing to the world. Of course Cambodia still stay in low developing country as big trouble of corruption but these people is a group of lazy people. I work with them and known them well. before nobody stay here but after the tourist coming and the price of land is up, they come too. Bill Cosby you should not give the fake information.

Il me manque l'argent .
Si une association pouvait m'aider, ce serait magnifique .
    Cela contribuerait beaucoup au d

OMG, I went there the same year so amazing to see back in time 1999, Soooooo different, it was a totally different country then. Many things were so poor, and sad, and guns everywhere, robberies etc. Aloit has improved, but the corruption and all the Casino made me never ever to return to this once paradise of a beach town.... Its a mxed feeling seeing this.... Loved the atmosphare that time, and 2003 again the freedom, roaming around with big off road bikes all over the country, but THE POVERTY OMG, it was heel lto see! I promise, not even India, was as bad, maybe Afghanistan today is about the same!.

After the war many land was taken and undocumented. It is not documented mean it isn’t belong to them. They claimed as their own and build house. My families left Cambodian and my grandparents owns large land however it was destroy during the war. Many education were killed by Khmer Rouge which happen to be Khmer. The house and land that belong to my family was own by Khmer Rouge. So is hard to believe who I should feel pity.

God loves you so very, very much that He sent His Holy Son Jesus from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins, and to be put into a tomb 3 days and rise from the dead the third day, and He (Jesus) went back up to heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today & repent! :)

comunal land systems worked better than they are given credit for
that is, they work well for self sufficiency and for small scale market oriented agriculture
today however everything is bought up by corporate moguls all over, agriculture has become an industry, animals are commodities and people are no longer a factor
the old argument that they provide jobs disapears when you look at reallity as wages plumetted or at least stagnated and automation increased making supposedly cheap food incredibly proffitable and defacto expensive for a population that is struggling to find work
and as someone who is by no means a socialist or communist, it is time to recognize that giant corporations are no better than centrally lead economy states, they hold a monopoly and don't allow any competition to evolve
we are producing a new nobility
    you will own nothing
