Thank you for always posting Budget Builds Angbata11. I took the liberty of comparing 3 builds against God charms and got the following results... TLDR: - Your Slice Build vs God Charm: 9% Dmg difference - Your Spread Build vs God Charm: 6% Dmg difference - Your Sticky Build vs God Charm: 6% Dmg difference Honestly it's not that big of a difference all things considered. For Slice I used a Rapid Fire Up 2 / Weakness Exploit 2 3-1-1 Charm and was able to get 1 more Crit Eye and 2 more Crit Boost For Spread I used a Spread 2 / Weakness Exploit 2 3-1-1 Charm and was able to get 2 more Crit Eye but a few extra QoL like Diversion, one extra reload, and Stun Res3 Lastly for Sticky I used an Atk boost 3 / Peak Performance 2 3-1-1 Charm and was able to get 3 more Atk, Slugger 3 and QoL skill diversion onto set. Ultimately all God charms really do is make your status screen aesthetic imo. Because if you are running sub 5 min hunts you will still usually complete the hunt in sub 5 min

I would say "good charm for sticky one" but, i remember i get a Peak Performance 2/ Slugger 2 with Slot 2 and Slot 1. Well, i'll go build a sticky lbg x).
Personally i just find a LBG i like. Use valstrax armour. Then slot in some recoil and reload gems. Put some agitator for extra damage. And boom big damage. Easy peasy.oh and great defense because of the 50 resistance to all elements.
I’m confused, is the Furious Flammenkanone a LBG? in my game this name corresponds to the Anjanath HBG. The name for the anjanath light bowgun I see is Furious Flammengewehr, I don’t know if I missing materials for the actual weapon or if I’m getting something wrong, some help would be appreciated
HH main here. If I see someone hanging out around half health I assume they are a scrub and heal them. It's impossible to assume people DON'T want to be healed. You really hit the nail on the head, the strax set has minmaxing speedrunner written all over it. In a full group of randoms there is far more to be concerned with than optimized dmg output. Run the set that let's you play safe. I don't wanna waste my time losing to a cart when we have the monster at trappable health levels. For people that want to experiment with the situational damage bump skills try using flawless before you try learning a skill that requires you to gamble with your hp. If you can go a full hunt without needing a pot or taking a hit then by all means you are probably better off soloing with your valstrax armor as it is.
Bow...guns? Just Bow my man, it's easy mode with unlimited pierce, rapid or spread ammo! Just kidding been chopping bits off with slicing, but recently discovered the joy of pure Bow and I'm loving it!
An additional thing about why normal 3 is better than rapidfire normal 2 is the bullet speed. Many might not know this but the higher the normal ammo, the higher their travel speed, it's extremely noticable against nimble enemies.
not actually bullet speed. It’s the same. It’s the frames it takes before the whole 1 shot of rfn2 finishes. It’s almost double compared to normal 3 single shot. even in world. Singleshot ammo would be really faster than rapid fire ammo because of the frames

I have a side setup for the maggy boomstick. I have it setup to have spare shot, spread up, pierce up, ballistics, since it has such a wide variety of ammo, I figured why not be able to use all of it. If you're online and you get the knockdown, run up bomb+spread. If the monster is aggressive, throw some pierce into it and play safer. KO the monster for support and throw slicing on the tail till it comes off. I always look for versatility when I put together my sets and rarely make meta builds. The maggy cannon does feel a little op but then again it's a flagship weapon right? The ability to move and shoot just about every useful shot it has kinda seems broken to me.
Is this your latest video on the pierce build for base Rise? Is it really worth it sacrificing spare shot for rapid fire up? I have a build that only has rapid fire up 2 but spare shot 3. If I get even 1 spare shot proc per magazine then it outdamages the rapid fire up 3 build and getting one spare shot proc in a mag is pretty likely. Sometimes I get 2-3 spare shot procs per mag so at that point it significantly outdamages the rapid fire up 3 set at least from what I can tell. I’m using crit boost 3 and wex 3, wex is probably only good against Narwa but running crit eye isn’t a bad idea for other monsters

So we can only build for critical hits for slicing. Same for stickies, only bombardier adds.
Isn't Spare shot technically a dps boost contender for some of the non sticky sets too? I recall running it for Nargacuga Pierce and even Dragonheart Spread.
No. I don’t really test these things but now I might consider it? maybe? The main reason for it is - dragon ammo is niche. The capacity you carry is too limited. Not saying it wont work - it’s just a lot of things should be aligned - proper “pierce lines” getting all the damage in order to kill a monster :)
I have problem with toaster lbg with toaster soul and full valstrax.....somehow blast kinda not working even with blast deco... Or Im an idiot that didn't know blast won't work on lbg blast build..... Anyways thx for reading....

Everybody has been using LBG. I’ve been loving the rampage HBG. More fun being a slow boi and shooting like 10 stickies in a 4 clip (with help of RNG Jesus)
LBG does almost everything better in Rise. HBG does stickies better - that’s it. You might see HBG being used a lot in hameruns but it’s a different story when monster doesnt move
I'm a bit confused with the sniper jewel at the end for the sticky build. Is it a part of the build since it's written sniper but you don't mention it ? Thanks, your build is awesome btw
the one sniper jewel is because anjanath has +1 deviation, just slot in a sniper jewel or something. It's not mandatory or whatever but it's useful so that your rounds are straight shots.

Well, doggo lbg is nice but the thing is if you want status -i guess it’s better you go meteor cannon hbg or rampage hbg or rajang hbg. Provide CC through stun - para - sleep etc. hbg works well for status mainly because your stickies deal damage too

For sticky build how about chameleos lbg? It has all status ammo and cluster/sticky even though it has low raw

What’s the difference between “Normal/Rapid Up” versus “Rapid Fire Up”?
Normal/rapid up is for normal shots and rapid fire bow type.
Rapid fire up is for rapid shot on lbg

For the mag LBG, since it’s a split damage type build between sticky spread and slicing. What dango do you recommend?
It's mainly a Spread gun with the other ammo more as a backup so you still eat for Booster/Temper/Marksman
