Thanks for the video. Lucky to get such great tips before my first camping with air tent.

Hi, nice video. We always recommend inflating the front tubes first i.e. near the door. This will allow air to flow freely into the tent and it will pop up into shape more quickly and easily. At about 8.30 to 9 minutes into your video you can see the 'vacuum' in your tent holding it down. Keep mesh screens zipped up to maintain shape but doors unzipped to allow air in. Keep up the good work.

Thank you. By watching your video, now I understand why there is specific air tent pump, didn’t know it has an auto stop function. I just got my first air tent, if I use other air pump or hand pump. How can I know I’ve pumped enough air into the tube? Cos I watch lots of video and found there’s moment all tubes stand up… I thought it stand up one by one😂

HK Mama - watch my video Air Tents Rule as I talk about the dial that is on manual pumps. Most air tents you should inflate the tubes to between 7 and 9 PSI. Check your manual. The manual pumps have a dial to show you with yellow, green, and red zones. Thx for the question.

Have you had any trouble with the air tubes for this tent? I’m planning to get one but am hesitant due to no spare air tube available on site that delivers to the US.

I own many inflatables and have camped over 300 days with them. Never had a single problem of any kind and have never had to add air. Btw, they are simply inner tubes just like what you have in your bike, so if you get a puncture just seal it. I have bought spare tubes with my first inflatable - Vango Capris 600XL but never used them. Btw, make sure to get our new Camping, Glamping, & Bushcraft 101 book (3 formats!) - all 5 stars on amazon. And the new camping planner just launched a week ago. Check them out - links - amzn.to/3ReXPt4 Planner - amzn.to/3Yritdx. Also, what tent are you thinking about getting? Read the book first.

Yes, thanks for the information. I’ll check the link out. I thinking about getting the Kampa Hayling 4 air tent.

@@ttblue86 The Hayling 4 is arguably the best 4 berth tent on the marketplace and my family's favorite. If you can get it with the optional mesh and also pvc interchangeable fronts you are set for summer and winter! I really like Kampa as they rarely change their tent designs. Btw, let me know what you like best about the book as there is a third of it dedicated to inflatable tent camping/glamping!

Hello..... I just mentioned in a comment on the first video of yours that I watched that I never see anyone using an electric pump for these and ..........well here it is. Glad I subbed and I told my wife your channel looks like it has all the information about the inflatable tents we are currious about.

:-) Thx for subbing - make sure to share and tell all your friends. I have invested a fortune to research, learn, try and test everything I can find for luxury air tent camping/glamping. I just bought a brand new Kampa Brean 3 Air Classic last week from the Netherlands and took it out for three days - wow - it's polycotton and it is the best. A ton of more videos to come as I can get the time to do them. Thanks for sharing our site. Let me know what else you want to learn about regarding camping/glamping.

Please do a video on how you typically set up the inside of your inflatable tents to make this an all round glamping channel. We want to see all the ins and outs, not just being swayed to purchase air tents. I would really like to see that content!

Loren, thanks for the ideas. So, have you watched all the videos on our channel? Like the Glamping Backyard Set Up, Glamping At Night, Tent Mahal, etc? Is that what you are talking about? Those are "walk throughs". One of the next videos will be a walk through of this set up to show people the insides. Give us an example of one of our vides you like and want to see more of. Thx much.

Would recommend an inflatable tent for a beginner?

    • @intentsglamping
      @intentsglamping  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Michael, great question. I recommend inflatables like we use based on the needs you have. The air tents you see in our videos start with two zones and sleep 2-3 on up to four zones and sleep six or more. I highly recommend these tents for people who will either do extended camping, want the highest quality tents, or will camp in what could be extreme weather. The tents in our videos can take winds between 60-90 miles an hour which is crazy. Hope that helps.

What kind of bed is that?

Spencer it is a Insta-Bed Raised Air Mattress with Never Flat Pump. Here is the link. amzn.to/3utVjAI
It is our favorite air mattress as it has dual motors - one to inflate to a certain pressure and then another motor (if you have it plugged in which we don't) keep it at that pressure. Thx for the question what else did you want to know about intents glamping? Please share and like.

@@JoeH-f1e I'm not sure I understand your question. The electric pump only has one speed. The other choice is a hand pump. You can hear the actually sound and demonstration on this video - th-cam.com/video/1BcYTjdTi8Q/w-d-xo.html. You can also hear the electric pump being used in the video Pitch an airtent while holding a beer. Hope that helps. Let me know. Please share, like and subscribe. Thx

@@JoeH-f1e got it. The first motor does make a hissing noise but I can't recall really ever hearing or noticing the second motor (the stabilizer motor) run or kick in. I think that maybe because of the mattress not losing any air and some trips we have not had it connected to electricity. But my wife or I can't remember hearing it. We have slept on it about 6-7 trips of up to 7 nights long.
