Hope we get a game that includes the lesser known Crash Bandicoot characters soon!
Before I say my thoughts, I do want to clarify that I sympathize with the folk who enjoyed this game, and whilst it wasn't for everyone, it had it's audience that stuck by it's side, much like nitro fueled. I'm glad that the plug was pulled for this game, there really wasn't much to offer to keep coming back, (gameplay wise & characters) there was so much going against this game, live service, online play only, no singleplayer/offline mode and not being free to play as well overall not being a game that a majority of the community asked for. the Spyro content really did feel like a last ditch attempt to garner any traction for the game instead of being a genuine inclusion like they did with nitro fueled, when it was announced I couldn't help but feel that way about it, they're just baiting Spyro fans at this point Imo, instead of including established characters that are fan favourites (crunch, trophy girls ETC) they instead opt out for characters that felt forced to be there (also adding tiny, Nina & pinstripe this late into the game, why couldn't they do this before alongside ripper & N.gin?) the game still felt as if it was missing something, the announcer always sounded so disinterested/half-arsed in what was going on, and game lacked any charm or soul that you'd get from other crash titles, I guess I could just say it still felt unfinished, this goes for the assets that where used including the music, there's nothing wrong with re-using old assets, but it would be nice if we got different stages that just weren't "crash 4 levels but arena". overall, my final opinion on this game is that it was doomed from the start, the constant teasers and endless videos dwindled any interest for the game, only to collapse further when details of the game were shown to the community, if I have to be honest Canadianguy, as a longtime viewer, this is a game that should've stayed as a concept piece and a neat in-universe joke rather than an actual game, but that's just me.
The game was overpriced for how little it had to offer. Reused character models, map assets, music and voicelines, it's the reason i didn't buy it on release; it felt more like a Crash It's About Time dlc than its own game. Also the gameplay was just too repetitive.
Good, sick of live service games. Give us Spyro 4, Crash 5, Spyro 5 etc.. These games will always sell good and bring joy to both new and old school gamers
It’s a little weird and interesting on how this battle pass is on for 25 years. Do you think that maybe toys for bob did this in order to get more people hired and maybe change their minds and continue the game and do a proper season. That’s just my theory about it.
NGL I'm Happy because of hearing of the Crash Team Rumble game being live service I wasn't ever going to play it because live service games are the death of the industry and I don't have time to keep up with live service games Now I'm down to look into getting this with a few of my buddies
It’s a shame that the content updates or coming to a close so soon (also kind of creepy since something similar happened with MultiVersus last year), but I think it’s for the best. I love playing Crash Team Rumble, but I can’t say I respect it in many regards. Mainly the fact that the devs ripped a ton of assets from Crash 4, the game did the standard Free/Premium Battle Pass crap, and while it could’ve been balanced out had the game kept on going, it ended with way too much Spyro content, in my opinion. That said, I’ll still be coming back now and again because I still have a lot of fun playing. I don’t play many MOBAs, but Crash Team Rumble’s gameplay really stands out in a fun and engaging manner. I also hope that Toys for Bob will have a bit more freedom now that they’re an Indie Studio, and I’m looking forward to what they’ll be putting out in this new chapter of the studios’ life.
Such a bittersweet end to this kind of game. I was holding out a lot of hope for this game to have a lot of seasons and more DLC. As well as finally seeing this game ported over to Switch and Steam. Never got the chance to try but I did watch my friends streamed this game.
Stopped playin' CTRumble the very second I got the Platinum back in Season One. As a "pre-orderer" and loving fan of the brand, I saw its demise soon enough. But in this way is just atrocious, it's unthinkable that we've spent more time TALKING ABOUT the game that actually PLAYING IT. I believe that if there will ever be a new Crash game, yet another studio would be involved, basically scrapping all the good that has been done til now. Enough with following this Activision nonsense
I have been waiting so long for just a PC port. :( I know like 10 friends i was gonna drag in for a huge pc launch one day. Sad to see I'll never get to see CTRb really take off the way it could have...
Is it bad that I'm glad I never jumped onto the game cos I saw this coming after the Crash on the Run situation... It was obvious after the cut content of Nitro Fuelled that Activision didn't want to dedicate time to Crash any more...
I knew something like this was gonna happen as soon as I saw gameplay footage of it. Honestly glad I avoided it, even being a collector with a love of the series
many things went wrong with Rumble in my honest opinion, lack of marketing, exhaustion over the live service model, no F2P to attract players, battlepass in a paid game and wrong audience (i love crash but i don't like mobas so this was not for me)
Tgis gane deserves to have at LEAST 1 more character in Nina Cortex To say we keep getting robbed in Crash games is an understatement at this point. CTR was the BEST experience in terms of community feedback and developers pouring all their love and soul into it. This, this Rumble game. Its so good. And the developers NEVER cared. What a shame
It’s impressive that the service will be available for more than 9000 days, almost infinite. Please cover more of Crash Bandicoot and Spyro news🙏 I just wanna know Crash’s and Spyros futures are good🙏
Honest to god im not surprised, I wasn't expecting anything to note from this live service game. Sucks to see it go IG, but oh well. Can't wait to see what else they do.
In terms of the cosmetics, I'm a little disappointed that they didn't port the rest of the Crash 4 skins, nor did they add the cosmetics exclusive to the Closed Beta Battlepass. But I'm really disappointed that the datamined characters (and that leaked jungle map) will never be in the game. This may sound like wishful thinking, but I hope Activision either lets TFB come back to this game (of course if TFB wants to), or passes it to Beenox, so we can at least get the remaining unused content. This update just doesn't feel right.
@@joshuasebsebe1047I'm not sure about the whole Beenox thing, I just said I hope someone at Activision sees the potential this game still has and gives Beenox the reigns to finish what TFB started As for the map, yes that is what I was talking about (I mean a map themed after it, not literally the level)
Im happy this era of Crash is over. I did not like TFB approach to Crash, it wasn't Crash atmosphere that I like. Im excited and optimistic for Crash future in Microsoft
8:15 that reminds me of both plants vs zombies garden warfare 2 and battle for neighborville, while GW2, was a bit more polished and complete there were still a few bosses that didn't make it, and as for the mess that's battle for neighborville, they cut a whole character, iceberg lettuce that was complete and ready to go, but was unfortunately scrapped last minute due to the devs discontinuing the games service, it's honestly really sad seeing characters that are so close to seeing the light of day get canned like this due to, what is mostly events beyond the developers control
Well... Same happened to Crash Team Racing... It is not a surprise to me, as the game did not rocked up as much as they expected. However, it is sad that we are not getting as half as the content that Racing got. We expected many other characters, many more than others that appeared (Who asked for Female Ntropy or Catbat when we still don't have Tiny, Pinstripe, Papu Papu or Komodo Joe???)
To be fair, nitro fueled had a longer lifespan of service, not to mention offline play, a story mode, 8 season passes (that were free, btw), and even added cut content to the shop that never made it to the seasons. Nitro Fueled was a much more complete game. Not to bash anyone who liked this game. It was a niche that Crash didn't really need, though.
So is it safe to say the Rumble won't be coming to switch? That's the only reason I haven't played it yet, so it's sad that I may not be able to play this game unless I fork out some extra cash for a new console
Crash Team Rumble was released only 8 months ago, and this announcement comes days after Toys for Bob announces it is going indie. I wonder if Activision was pushing too much with Crash and Call of Duty, and this is TfB trying to course correct with what they actually want to do.
I have to admit, during season three I got so burnt out from CTRumble and now haven’t played for months, but I’m still sad it’s coming to an end. The game lasted much longer than I expected though 😅
CGE thanks for your time and support for this game you alone seemed the main marketing for this game it’s just a situation where sad to see it go but glad that it happened “Wumpa League” could a great online mode attached to Crash 4 Activision just gave up on it
We need a new Crash Team Racing with Cross Play and the feeling from Nitro Fueled. No extra fancy mechanics, just the nice gameplay and the new TFB look from the Crash unisverse. With the right know how, live services would make the game relevant for a long time.
I was gonna give this a shot if it ever came on switch, but fortunately it didn't happen and I didn't wasted my money on a death game. but also, woah, battle pass are disgusting, even in a death game they have to keep that force to play it mentallity to unlock stuff
Someone remind me again, why these games don't get ported to PC even with their limited season passes again? just to get one last chance and perhaps cross-platform
The crash cast isn't that huge but to not get a single new crash character from season one is a huge disappointment. I was a fool for looking forward to a game with all playable crash characters in a platforming format. They didn't even leave us off on a new map or set characters. This was just a huge spit in the face for fans.
Technically we didn't even get a new Crash character at all because Ripper Roo and N. Gin were already finished and usable in some builds before release, and were saved for special events 💀 Though yeah it's pretty sad, the game didn't deserve this fate.
Game had amazing potential and I feel like a new season plus a PC port this game could have gained momentum. It launched very bare but by now it actually has a decent amount of content. I loved this game and I’m sad we’re not getting pinstripe, tiny and Nina
Wish they took a chance on the game going f2p to at least garner some new players. Hopefully people start capturing data packets now for the future when people wanna make private servers.
The game has been announced to be like the next crash game but it felt so underwhelming when it came out. It feels more like a multiplayer mode for crash 4 rather than a full game to spend money on. Mistakes happens, i hope that the studio won't stop trying to make more games (a crash bash remake would be a blast). But it's too soon to give up crash bandicoot again they have to make another new game for us !
As soon as i saw the days on the battle pass, i said.... oh no... no, no... That's so sad. Then i went through the items, and it's all from limited events and pases. I was so disappointed i loved this game specially for spyro

the game still felt as if it was missing something, the announcer always sounded so disinterested/half-arsed in what was going on, and game lacked any charm or soul that you'd get from other crash titles, I guess I could just say it still felt unfinished, this goes for the assets that where used including the music, there's nothing wrong with re-using old assets, but it would be nice if we got different stages that just weren't "crash 4 levels but arena".
overall, my final opinion on this game is that it was doomed from the start, the constant teasers and endless videos dwindled any interest for the game, only to collapse further when details of the game were shown to the community, if I have to be honest Canadianguy, as a longtime viewer, this is a game that should've stayed as a concept piece and a neat in-universe joke rather than an actual game, but that's just me.
The time with this game was short but I don't regret playing it even for a second
NGL I'm Happy because of hearing of the Crash Team Rumble game being live service I wasn't ever going to play it because live service games are the death of the industry and I don't have time to keep up with live service games
Now I'm down to look into getting this with a few of my buddies
I’m sad that the game ended. But they brought back all the original stats for ripper roo and other characters so I’m still playing this game.
Do we exist just to suffer?
@@joshuasebsebe1047 possibly
@@Bobby20099 yeah it's not fair
Such a bittersweet end to this kind of game. I was holding out a lot of hope for this game to have a lot of seasons and more DLC. As well as finally seeing this game ported over to Switch and Steam. Never got the chance to try but I did watch my friends streamed this game.
It’s ashame, I was really getting into the game.
Very GOOD LESSON for people who supported them and purchased this $h!t I hope it served as a lesson !!!!!
I kinda want a refund
Yeah, I bought digital deluxe
Learn your lesson. @@Dante_Sparda_DMC
Lesson learned, hopefully.
That's very depressing, really...
We will always remember the day of playing Crash Team Rumble.
Honestly glad I avoided it, even being a collector with a love of the series
many things went wrong with Rumble in my honest opinion, lack of marketing, exhaustion over the live service model, no F2P to attract players, battlepass in a paid game and wrong audience (i love crash but i don't like mobas so this was not for me)
Tgis gane deserves to have at LEAST 1 more character in Nina Cortex
To say we keep getting robbed in Crash games is an understatement at this point.
CTR was the BEST experience in terms of community feedback and developers pouring all their love and soul into it. This, this Rumble game. Its so good. And the developers NEVER cared. What a shame
I think they do care but they didn't said thank you playing in the message they sent
Now we can finally go back to not being confused by what CTR means in the context of Crash games any more.
I saw the trailer and i was like "lets wait and see" and then i forgot about it because no one ever talked about it and now this.. man makes me sad
It’s impressive that the service will be available for more than 9000 days, almost infinite.
Please cover more of Crash Bandicoot and Spyro news🙏
I just wanna know Crash’s and Spyros futures are good🙏
I'm so upset right now!😡
Honest to god im not surprised, I wasn't expecting anything to note from this live service game.
You mean the Blast to the past map from Crash 4?
Are you sure beenox will support rumble?
@@joshuasebsebe1047I'm not sure about the whole Beenox thing, I just said I hope someone at Activision sees the potential this game still has and gives Beenox the reigns to finish what TFB started
As for the map, yes that is what I was talking about (I mean a map themed after it, not literally the level)
@DarkestMarlin74 if I were you. I would pray for that to happen
Im happy this era of Crash is over. I did not like TFB approach to Crash, it wasn't Crash atmosphere that I like. Im excited and optimistic for Crash future in Microsoft
Much I'm glad to avoid Microtranactions but I'm sad also to see Crash Team Rumble living short
These types of game cannot survive if they're not free to play
aqui depois de ver o video do Gabs Bandicoot ontem kk
Well hopefully this means TfB can now move on to a Crash game they actually wanted to make..
Well I'm sure TFB love making this game
8:15 that reminds me of both plants vs zombies garden warfare 2 and battle for neighborville, while GW2, was a bit more polished and complete there were still a few bosses that didn't make it, and as for the mess that's battle for neighborville, they cut a whole character, iceberg lettuce that was complete and ready to go, but was unfortunately scrapped last minute due to the devs discontinuing the games service, it's honestly really sad seeing characters that are so close to seeing the light of day get canned like this due to, what is mostly events beyond the developers control
The Crash bandicoot game no one asked for, no wonder it…. Crashed.
Should have been free to play the whole time.
So is it safe to say the Rumble won't be coming to switch? That's the only reason I haven't played it yet, so it's sad that I may not be able to play this game unless I fork out some extra cash for a new console
You said March 24th, 2024 in the beginning. :|
I TOLD YOU ....
I’m really sad about this. I wanted it to be so much more… such a shame
Just stick to what works. Give us a new Spyro, a new crash bandicoot and a crash team racing 2.
The question now is: what's next for Crash Bandicoot?
Back to hiatus, like in 2007. No one else is left to work on Crash as they are all co-developing Call of Duty now.
Missing opportunity to put new characters in the game. That a very sad new. Hope we are going to see more Crash and Spyro in the futur
CGE thanks for your time and support for this game you alone seemed the main marketing for this game it’s just a situation where sad to see it go but glad that it happened “Wumpa League” could a great online mode attached to Crash 4 Activision just gave up on it
This game was destinated to fail 🤷♂️
Good riddance. Nothing of value is lost.
This is the way Crash Team Rumble ends. Not with a bang, but with a whimper. I sincerely hoped that male N. Tropy will be added on the last update.
That's really too bad it only lasted that long. It would have been neat for it to last longer, even though I didn't play it.
One silver lining is that, when I am able to try the game out, I have a whole lot of free content to work towards getting, all at a relaxed pace.
I wish they would release the results from the survey we took before the game came out.
We need a new Crash Team Racing with Cross Play and the feeling from Nitro Fueled. No extra fancy mechanics, just the nice gameplay and the new TFB look from the Crash unisverse. With the right know how, live services would make the game relevant for a long time.
Oh man this hurts so much
They really cancelled the game before the Skylanders update 😭🤩
Sadly, to be honest, I was expecting this would happen very early...
I was gonna give this a shot if it ever came on switch, but fortunately it didn't happen and I didn't wasted my money on a death game.
but also, woah, battle pass are disgusting, even in a death game they have to keep that force to play it mentallity to unlock stuff
The battle pass has 9,433 days on it, that is 25 years, spyro has been around for 25 years, hint for spyro 4. Possibly.
Gin were already finished and usable in some builds before release, and were saved for special events 💀
Though yeah it's pretty sad, the game didn't deserve this fate.
Game had amazing potential and I feel like a new season plus a PC port this game could have gained momentum. It launched very bare but by now it actually has a decent amount of content. I loved this game and I’m sad we’re not getting pinstripe, tiny and Nina
I’ll wait for an offline mode and for it to become free to play.
@@jonahabenhaim1223 be waiting a long time lol
I am FURIOUS they had plans for pinstripe and it got scrapped
9,433 days to complete the pass? So, what happens when it’s over?
Did not expect this to end that quick wow
History repeating itself. Crash Team Racing also had a June release and also ended support the following March. Really unfortunate
Difference is nitro fueled (real CTR) was amazing and worth every penny even before the Grand Prix unlike this scam of a “game”
This is one of the most unsurprising things of all time. The game was destined to flop from the jump.
Now as an indie company they can now focus on what they want and not Activision. Which would allow focus on mainline games like spyro 4 and crash 5
So no switch port?
