That is an awesome hydrangea! Such huge blooms. I love hydrangea blossoms dried in fall and winter. I am hoping to add one to my garden and will certainly consider your advice on shade plantings to save watering.
Hi Jacqueline. These Annabelle's are on the north (shady) side of the house. For a couple months in the middle of summer they can get 3-4 hours of direct sun, provided it's not cloudy. They also get dappled light through the western trees for a couple hours in the afternoon, again if the sun is out. I'm happy that those trees block the hottest sun of the day. Thanks for reaching out!
They are so beautiful I need to grow some Hydrangeas. Thanks!

Absolutely beautiful…I’ll keep dreaming and wishing as this variety is not available here in Australia.
What a magnificent hydrangea! Can you tell me how long the Incrediball has been planted?
Your garden is marvelous!
You made my day with your sweet words! I think I planted it about seven years ago, but it grew fast.
How many hours of sun does that hydrangea get? 😍😍😍
