I just sold my API 3124 and my Focusrite RED quad today because the carbon pre’s are so exceptional. It was an emotional sale, but it made sense because of the stellar preamps that avid has created. Can’t believe it. Top shelf Avid. 🎉
I am a mac novis. Would a Macbook air 15" work well with the carbon? I need something somewhat portable. I would need an ethernet adapter. The 24" imac (upgrade from the base model) has a built in ethernet jack in the power supply. Is there a setback using the ethernet adaptor vs using a real built in ethernet port?
