Life update! Been sorting out my life things, from applying for new uni courses, hair touch ups, getting ready for the wedding in Bali and focusing on self care ✨ a lot went down in October, ready to catch you guys up 😌
The period cramping might be coinciding with your sudden lifestyle change with working out intensely. I really recommend reading some books on hormone health (Period Power is a good one). It emphasises the importance of hitting those intense workouts in your spring and summer of your cycle, and lighter exercises such as yoga or walks towards the week of your period. Working out intensely when your progesterone is dropping increases stress hormones and also stresses your body and can manifest as fatigue and bad cramps! Trust your body and how you feel sometimes it’s trying to tell us something when it comes to pain or weird symptoms :)
If it helps, it took me 3 years to figure out what I wanted to pursue in uni, and so I changed unis and courses like 3 times, now it's great! I do mourn the lost time, but I'm really happy with what I'm studying and feel like it's so must more achievable, even though it's the hardest degree.
I’m so proud of you! Genuinely it’s so hard to pivot and not feel helpless when your peers have graduated or are close too. But simultaneously I wouldn’t of changed anything because I was able to focus more on what I wanted in life, I guess I’ll go with the flow :)
I just love the way you are trying to be organized and having things go in the way you want it even though you got so much going on . Ly💖keep the good work up !
I’ve just been trying to figure out what I really want to do next year, this year has been one big jumble of things going on in my life and I want to set down a really clear idea of what my goals are next year bc I feel so burnt out in 2023 😅
Briddy, I HIGHLY suggest you switch degrees if you’re not 100% into it. I used to take lab sciences and stayed for about a year and a half til I realized it wasn’t for me at all. I was getting so sick and depressed too. It wasn’t me at all. I switched to multimedia arts and I thrive in that degree. Your mind and well being can only handle so much and your body can literally break down when you’re not enjoying what you’re doing. I made it to my last year and I’m graduating in June! Go do what you feel your heart wants, Briddy! 🩵🩵🩵
It’s been sooo long for me so I’m just incredibly conflicted 🥲 but I’m seeing what my options are at the moment, I’m thinking about doing a diploma in languages at the moment too because I’ve always wanted to pursue my language studies further!! Thanks so much for this though, really helps give more perspective :,)
if it would make things a little bit easier,I changed my degree after my first year of studies, and it was the best decision.the reality is that most of the people I studied with went on doing completely different things after uni, so it's more about doing something you are interested in for a couple of years, you get a degree, and that's it. good luck with everything, and don't worry,it's ok either way.
@@briddy I also waited too long for some things, but many things happen in life and I think it's ok to take the time you need when you need it.because nothing ever happens in the chronological order "it's suppose to happen".so it's ok.
Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you both I enjoy it. Please be safe. My wife has to work in the morning. I am about to jet to work. I am running a little late.
Cool vlog briddy your hair looks so good your a good cook and to bad about your drawers but it's good that you fixed them your so good at doing everything
I totally relate with the uni thing cos like I have a degree that idk about anymore, should’ve stuck with my first degree🤣 it’s ok though cos u can always study no matter the age💖
Hi Briddy, I literally never comment on videos haha but I wanted to say that I also changed degrees after about 2.5 years of uni and taking summer courses. I went from an Honours Bachelor of Science to Honours Bachelor of Arts which was a big change, but I was definitely a lot happier and doing a lot better grade wise too after the change 😊
I think I’ll be a lot happier too, I’m just concerned about how many units I can transfer over! I feel like I’ve just been avoiding my issue of not loving my degree and just taking leave on and off 😂 I’m definitely considering what path to take though, thanks so much for this btw 🫶🏼
