Hate to tell you but I've driven for Maverick, TMC, McElroy, Blair Logistics, and hot shot for my neighbor. All these companies are the same. Everyone always trying to get one over on the driver. The hot shot job was probably my favorite. I won't go back to driving for anyone else again. I will only ever consider trucking again when I can buy a truck in cash and run under my own authority.
That’s why you have to do what’s best for you individually not what the masses say is good. Those companies you mentioned may be the best thing ever for another driver it just wasn’t best for you. But I also understand your outlook and agree to a certain extent.
I’d recommend speaking with a recruiter but while I was there it was 1k. You can definitely make more than that a week if you really don’t mind running. That minimum is more for when you’re starting out getting the hang of it. After that you should be bringing in more.
It’s not really based on mileage. They do percentage and while I was there it was a 1k minimum as long as you were available to work. But you should clear more than that, truthfully.
What this man voice being low gotta do with Ebonics? just say you like saying dumb shit for no reason 😂 let me guess you wrote this shit because this man happen to be black huh?
