This is the style of portraits I want to paint. Simple and beautiful. I like how you blend out the edges while it’s still wet with a second brush. I’ve seen others that blend and remove highlights after it’s dry but that only works if your paints are non-staining so I always feel defeated trying the “you can fix it later” method.
Love your technique. Definitely would join a portrait series.

Yes, I would like to see portrait instruction lessons. I paint in Oils and Acrylics and am new to watercolor painting. I find it very different from other mediums as for me I feel watercolor painting is more about the journey during painting, than the even the end product. Great lessons thank you.

it's a synthetic Kolinsky, I'm using size 6.
for bigger shape I use my old number 8 kolinsky brush

Your watercolor skills are top-notch, but you may have very few human body structure paintings. You are not as proficient in painting landscapes as you. I like to see videos of you painting landscapes outdoors, and I like to do this myself.
