Well, if they want to become an archaeologist, or a philanthropist for that matter, It's entirely their choice. As a mechanical engineer, I learned coding in a matter of 4 months. Ended up in a big Tech company. It took me 21 years of knowledge about Physics, Chemistry, Geography, PolScience, Psychology, History, Maths and so many others to make me capable enough to understand something like coding in mere 4 months.

Thank God Bill Gates Microsoft systems changed that and made things 100,000,000 times easier. I guess, thats how we learned the values of cleanliness, love and value for nature, discipline, obediance, etc. I miss those days.. no wonder it was so sentimental for the final year students during farewell days...

Frankly speaking, childhood is the age to teach good moral values, build character and integrity, the value of dreaming, playing, imagination and building resilience and cultivate multiple hobbies to blossom into a healthy individual.
    All these shiny objects such as coding etc. can follow between the ages of 18-25 years where the kid has atleast some cognitive ability to discern and ask themselves if they want to really pursue that path, rather than being told to do so by parents/society at a tender age in school.

Some people just coast through life, doing the bare minimum and then when life's responsibilities inevitably hit them, they are completely un prepared and cry that life is unfair.

    children will memorize the code in school like they do most of the subjects. Recipe for disaster. If you want to improve the education system then just remove all of the exams and instead create projects. each kid will do an individual product of the subject matter and question according to their project should be asked. simple. this way kids will actually learn the things and also won't be able to cheat. Plus there is no pressure to pass a 10 memory test exams to get 90% above scores.

      Though this system sounds perfect there's caveats in this too. School projects get copied left and right and it will be only possible by giving everyone unique projects every year which is not feasible. Also memorization is a part of almost every skill there is hence ignoring it absolutely would not be beneficial for anyone (even though suck in memorizing this is true). Also what about the students who don't wanna pursue science in their careers? I know there won't be any perfect system but the marks of an individual should be a certain percent of a project and a certain percent of marks which is what we currently have but the exam pattern and how projects are handled are absolutely rubbish.

    • @sanketvaria9734
      @sanketvaria9734 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@sohagdas8351 projects do not mean science projects. For a kindergarten kid the project might be to make painting or craft. And yes it should be unique to everyone because everyone has different skills and intelligence. Rahi baat memory ki to wo apne aap strong hoti agar brain ka gray matter badhega. Aur brain ka gray matter logical and creative task karne se badhta hai. Ratta marne se bhi badhta hai lekin wo tarika kam effective hai.

    Everyone MUST learn to code! It teaches pure logic without any emotions, and it is a valuable tool in the modern e-world. It always helps to know how things work in the background. One tends to make less of a fool of themselves. But to be good at coding you must first be good at maths and english. An age of 4-5 is just too young. We were taught coding at the right time, in 7-8th standard(13-14 years old). By then we already had a good grasp on maths, english and the sciences. Education has to be well planned and systematic. There is a timing for everything. There is a reason we follow recipes and don't just dump everything at once into the pot, heat it and call it food. Also, PARENTS WITH LOWER IQ/INTELLIGENCE than their children, should not be making decisions for their children's future. I'm not saying they can't be parents, but such people should not decide for others. We need to figure out a system how. At the age of 4-5, I'd rather give discipline, morals,honor, critical thinking and physical fitness more priority. Currently we are just churning out people with technical intelligence but no moral or social intelligence. A childhood is supposed to be an experience that leads to development. IT cant be taught/spoon fed.
