LOVE IS ALL AROUND--THE TROGGS (NEW ENHANCED RECORDING)720P

- One of my favorite songs of the 60's but it was a scrappy recording with no high fidelity. The thing that bothers me the most about the original recording by the Troggs is the out-of-tune guitar! If there is one instrument out of tune and all the others are perfect it will destroy the sound. It is the responsibility of the guitar player to make sure his guitar is in tune and if not then it should have been caught by the recording engineer and corrected When I first heard this song I could believe that such an out-of-tune guitar could be allowed on a major record label. Well it was and there was very little I could do to fix it.
I made the best enhanced recording I could under the circumstances so it's not one of my best.
And just like that we are transported back to the greatest era of pop music ever made.....
I agree with you 100% best times ever
The original version of an all time classic. A classic pop ballad, with legendary status. The most memorable and the greatest song by The Troggs. Fabulous job on this enhanced version. Magnificent.
Not many members left.
Truly iconic and untouchable. In my All-Time pantheon.
If you agree that love is still all around even in the year 2023, give me a thumbs up and let it show…
I only wish. Right now I don't see it but all I can is give as love as I can and hope for the best.
I've spent the better part of the morning listening to your remixes and reminiscing about the past. I feel oddly sad yet glad that I was fortunate to grow up during the 60s and 70s. Thanks for the memories.
Ever heard of 'the fabulous fifties'?
I loved this song from the first time I heard it and it remains one of my favorites still today. If the guitar is out of tune it does nothing to take away from the recording. It is incredible the way it is.
Best version of the one of the greatest love songs.
Epic love song!!
Love the strings
A great iconic and nostalgic Rock N'Roll song from a terrific band from the 1960's that is not given enough credit as very talented musicians. Their music and words are so easy to understand and listen to. Relaxing and smooth.
It sounds even more wonderful than before. Love it.
Your version is an improvement. Thank You! I've always thought that this is one of the most beautiful love songs of my generation. Thank You.
Yes it is❤️❤️❤️
Love the Troggs. Great songs to enjoy for over 50 years. Thanks.
I bought this record when it originally came out in 1966 and I still have it sounds as good as ever ❤
Då var jag 10 år så bra minns den
Beautiful song...!!
Such a beautiful song. One of the best ever recorded. Lots of memories for me about a special guy I knew a long long time ago!!
I love this song by the toggs and the music enhancement network did an amazing job the sound it's very good more clearly than before thank youuuu 😘your amazing 👍🦋🌻💋
This is totally insane! This song is a true classic rock ballad in the rock/pop genre.... with less than 100K views as of 5/5/21???
It doesn't get much better than this ladies and gentlemen... nice lyrics and beautifully melodic instrumentals... :-)
This song easily makes my top all time 50 rock/pop song list.
What do you think about that?
I couldn't have said it better.
I feel the same way about
the Left Bank and 'Walk away Renee'
Happy Listening. 🎼🎧🙂
The flat guitar is obvious but I see it as two positives: this demonstrates how free and open we were to new music back then (compared to today) and honestly it makes the song sound earthier, grittier.
A little bit of dirt under the fingernails in what is otherwise a pristine ballad. The contrast is kinda cool.
Love this and haven't heard in a LONG time. Need to hear more.
I followed this up by listening to a decidedly UNenhanced 45 with plenty wow, flutter, snap, crackle and pop, and...still couldn't pick up that out-of-tune guitar others mention. The song still works for me.
The song love is all around and is a awesome and excellent song by the troggd. I have added it to my playlist.
Gorgeous ballad--------thank-you Kenn ! --------Ahhhhhhh, the 60's. -------------MJL< 76 y/o
Ahhhh! And I am 81 years young!
Likes awesome sound you did a fantastic job with the sounds in this song thank to the music enhancement network for uploading and making this song better thanks 💝👍🦋💞👍🦋you are so awesome Kenny 🤗
Never gets old.
a song that sums up the 60's but so relevant also today in 2020
The clarity is fabulous.
Great download, its like hearing it for the first time.......True remaster, such great clarity and depth........
YOU ALWAYS DO A GREAT JOB OF "ENHANCING THE MUSIC" OF OUR LIIVES🥰
I've always loved this song
great work enhancing these songs , glad to see that there gone but not forgotten 😊👍👍
One of my all time favorites growing up!
This is the best love song of all time in my opinion.
I hear it a few chords, but a guitar teacher once told me I had a tin ear, so what do I know, I think it gives the song character I would never change that , what a wonderful job you did love it!
Rest in Peace Reg Presley Troggs Lead Vocalist.
Originally named Reg Owen he took by the time Wild Thing came out Elvis" Last Name.
Oh, I remember this so well! Love it!
Great song, great arrangement and you've improved the sound. Well done!
simple and beautiful.
I really enjoyed the film Love Actually's use of this song as a Christmas Carol with an absolutely hilarious performance by Bill Nigh as an over the hill rocker staging a comeback.😂
I LOVE the Troggs. From pounders like Wild Thing and Lost Girl to love songs or softer songs like this one or Last Summer or Cousin Jane to psychedelic like Purple Shades or Maybe the Madman they were just great!!!!
Such a great song!
Lyrics:
I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes
Well, love is all around me
And so the feeling grows
It’s written on the wind, it’s everywhere I go
So if you really love me
Come on and let it show
You know I love you, I always will
My mind’s made up by the way that I feel
There’s no beginning, there’ll be no end
‘Cause on my love you can depend
I see your face before me as I lay on my bed
I kinda get to thinking of all the things you said
You gave your promise to me, and I gave mine to you
I need someone beside me in everything I do
You know I love you, I always will
My mind’s made up by the way that I feel
There’s no beginning, there’ll be no end
‘Cause on my love you can depend
It’s written on the wind, it’s everywhere I go
So if you really love me
Come on and let it show
Come on and let it show
Come on and let it show
Come on and let it show
Come on and let it show……
miss the songwriting of the 1960's.
I don't know why, but I love this song
Because it's really good! Huge hit in1968.....................
Very beautiful words
Good sound and video. Awesome through my headphones, and a glass of wine in hand. Perfect.
The contrast between this song and their previous hit single, 'Wild Thing', could not have been more stark. It was so shockingly quiet by comparison, that when it was first released some radio listeners had great difficulty believing it was being performed by the same band.
Both good songs. If you really listen though, the chord pregressions are the same. Different speed.
I’ll take Love is all Around over Wild Thing. I grew up listening to this. 68 years old and I miss those days of the 60’s, some beautiful music and memories
Yes thank u for enhancement ,🎧💕
The 'cow bell' really lifts this song. Back in the day, never heard it! :)Good work, Man!
Could it be the cow bell you hear is actually a rim shot?
It sounds excellent, better than ever!
You've done it again, Kenn! So rich--can't believe this is the same song I love so, that used to sound so tinny! You are a master!
The vocals are so perfect you don't even hear the out of tune guitar. Sounds great!
Yeah! It's out of tune ahaha! Magic 60ies!
It might be some sort of flanger on the guitar as well, or perhaps the bass is out of tune, not sure.
i've heard it from the very beginning i heard the song , but i even bought the single , thirst i thought it was my hearing
For sure, every musician can hear that, ha ha
*Despite the poor quality of the original, this was always a favorite tune of mine.* *But this has to be your most successful enhancement Kenn, given what you had to work with.* *If this song were flat bread then you'd be the leaven - and more.* *Bravo!*

Summer of '66----------hard to believe how much I loved this song! --------It was a perfect sing-along song. ----------------WolfSky9

LOVE THIS SONG
great job ken your amazing bring the greatest music back to life Thank You
Yet another fantastic enhancement!
About the out of tune guitar: Yes! Some hits used that warbling as a constructive conflict! In fact, in the right context it adds weight to the music, but only in specific cases. Great work!
By the way, I have a daily music list. I've featured many of your songs. I think people should have the opportunity to listen to your list. You are an extremely talented musican. Thanks again, for 'rebirthing' songs from past allowing to appreciate their wonderful sound. Thanks again!!!!!
A favorite that needed your magic touch, even with the out of tune guitar!
The original and best version, penned straight from the heart of Reg Presley, reflecting on his idyllic life with his wife of 50 years up to his death-what a guy! ❤
Very nice version, Kenn. Thanks for the effort. How about some more DC5. EDB
Even if this had been the only record released in 1967 it still would have been a great year for music!
❤❤❤
Maybe it’s my poor hearing but I didn’t notice the guitar out of tune. You did a great job.
awwww my gigachu this is beautiful and perfect right on m8
groovy😎❤
Much needed improvement of a great tune!
I like this song because you can actually understand the lyrics
The out of tune guitar was purposefully done in order to create tension. The effect being a description of an emotion, musically.
Reel to reel tape flutter. Recording tape slows down and speeds up crossing the playback and recording heads. The pitch fluctuates and at times sounds like a thumb dragging lightly on the reel.
awesome enhancement!
Sorry I have been playing guitar and piano for 58 years and there is no instrument in this song that is out of tune. Just the way it was produced.
super track
Oh, this was such a wonderful song of my Childhood! Love this!
Nice !
Please release this. Any medium ok. But it would be cool, very cool, to have it on rsd3 3 inch vinyl!!
it's what make the world go in orbit/LIFE/LeKhayim
GENIAL !
Great job, man. And that out of tune guitar? Maybe it's those imperfections (out of your control) that make something really original and good. Thanks.
Jimi Hendrix made them famous wild thing a great song and a good tribute by favorite guitar Jimi Hendrix .
They were already famous for their own version of 'Wild Thing.' Jimi set it on fire, but it was already a huge hit before he that applied lighter fluid to his guitar.
Early summer of '68.
Sounds a bit better. 👍
TROGGS STILL AROUND FROM WHAT I KNOW
Sometimes, groups would purposefully have an instrument out of tune for the effect it gave. I don’t know if that’s the case here or not.
Kenn, do you suppose the engineers wanted it to be out of tune? It got my attention when I first heard it. I thought, what is this?
I don't think Fontana was a major record company at the time.
What is there...not to like 👏👏
Your recordings are always so good - but, this is one is less than stellar - your source material is distorted and yes, one can still hear the out of tune guitar. But, thanks for the effort - this is a nice song.
Follow Up to WILD THING(Jimi Hendrix covered too)so electricfing
What's a Trogg?
Trogg is short for Trogladite.
@@cinematic35 Try Trogoldyte (British English spelling)!
Kenn, I believe that the out of tune guitar was supposed to be used by the band as sort of an enhancement to give more interest to the song
I allways thought when i played it that the hole was not in the middle of the single
It's the enormous amount of wow & flutter that bothers me most of all. It sounds as though there was probably a huge lump of ferric oxide stuck on the capstan of the mastering deck. This points to at least one incompetent engineer in the studio, so I suppose it's hardly surprising that the badly tuned guitar was missed also. Never mind, you cleaned it up quite nicely in other respects.
Original.Name:The Troglodytes.
An "out-of-tune" guitar! What the hell is this guy talking about? Is he, as is said, "for real"? The original version of "Love Is All Around" by The Troggs contains its finest arrangement along with lead singer Reg Presley's definitive vocals; the violin contribution is especially effective! The so-called "enhanced" version is -- what? -- louder? Its sound more distinctive? As if that somehow renders the telling original less so! Alas! Seems the accessibility to comment, made possible by the Internet, brings no end of such foolish commentators out of the proverbial woodwork!
The guitar is a bit flat but it doesn't really matter. Tbh, I wonder if the speed is correct? I hear some pitch wobble here (wow and flutter from the source record?)
Enhanced forsure!!!
To me it sounds like the original tape is dragging.
It actually sounds like the Troggs 'walk' off the computer and sing the song in my living room. And it's the way they want it to be heard.
yes too slow. I compared it to original, slooowwww
I think the original always seemed to drag. It's a great mix, but it might be a better song if it were speeded up a little. Or if the bass and drums just rushed the beat a little from time to time.
This song is fantastic with h@sh!
Did it ever occur that was the sound they wanted? Unless one was part of the band, how does one know that was not the effect they wanted? If you have info that I'm not privy too, I stand corrected.
That original tape sounds like it was on its last legs
Destroy all copies of the Wet Wet Wet version. I'm sticking with this.
Reg Presley. Garage band god.
This version is vastly superior to the later offering by Wet Wet Wet.
Not in 2024 😢
