Good day sir, just want to clarify something. Why the latching of the start push button on the slide with fuses and overload (2:05) is parallel to the NC terminal of the contactor? Why is it not on NO terminal? Thanks.
Yes, the start pushbutton should be in parallel with NO of the contactor. I have borrowed this slide from this presentation th-cam.com/video/zG5aPYf0AZQ/w-d-xo.htmlm13s "Locate NO terminals of the contactor and connect them in parallel to the start button". When I was doing this slide I have made an assumption that all aux contact are NO, and I was wrong :(
