Absolutely. Noah Wyle took on an impossible role to fill, to "set the tone", and made it amazing. This is by far one of my favorite shows that has ever been on the air. You felt like you were there in the thick of it in the Congo with him, luka and Pratt. You felt like you were in the ER hurting the way Doug did about his patients unbelievable pain. They don't make em like they used to.
@@antayafairless9028 completely different idea... ER was an ensembled cast and focused a lot on the lives of the doctors instead of just on one egomaniac doctor... or making too much love triangles and soap opera style of drama like grey's anatomy
Good lord Carter sounded so unenthusiastic when he found out Abby and Luka are doing great😂 When Pratt first told carter in that Darfur episode that Luby reunited and was getting ready to have a baby he was stunned. I think it had a lot to do with how Kem totally shut down on him after Joshua died and just never seemed to recover from that. John wanted kids again but Kem just wasn’t there and who knows if she ever would be again. I think John was jealous in the sense that Abby and Luka were doing so well and they had something he didn’t have, a son. I felt for John I did he deserved happiness but Kem wasn’t strong enough to handle the loss of that baby and it was clear their marriage suffered from it since they were separated in finale.
@@preciousshetterly8141 Carter and Abby both expressed that their relationship wasn’t right for either one of them. Abby even knew it was a dead end from the start and told Luka that. He realized she wasn’t the one for him when he changed his mind on proposing but with Kem he had no doubts what so ever wanting to marry her. Carter’s exit for Kem allowed for Luka to reclaim Abby. It’s how it was suppose to be.
I think Carter is genuinely happy for them but what's been going on with his own life at the moment he does envy them a little bit but is still happy for his friends.
I hated how Abby was so self absorbed in herself. It was always about her and her problems. Like when Carters Grandma died. That did it for me. Carter practically begged her to be there for him… in so many words. THEN she redeemed herself to me, when she got back with Luka. IMO

I don’t think so. I never missed an episode in 15 seasons. This is the third time POP SUGAR is running the seasons. We’re at the point now where I watch some, and some I don’t. Four episodes on the DVR 5 days a week is too much for me. But now that the first 6 seasons have run and Mark Greene is dead I pick and choose. There was no show like it, that’s for sure.
The guy works in a busy ER and decides it would be an absotively smashing idea to drink from an unmarked bottle left sitting on the desk? What is this, his first day?
If I were a writer his response would have been. "You knew Mark Greene then?" Carter: "Yeah. I knew Mark Greene. He set the tone in this place, and when he left he passed that responsibility on to me."

He’s selfish and feels no sense of responsibility to family or Grandpa and Gamma Carter’s philanthropic legacy. John was her reward in that family. John will use the money wisely. We find out, in the final episode, just what he uses much of that money for.
He doesn’t believe anyone should have to pay for medical treatment and he wants to help whether or not he gets paid as the doctor …he is also rich but spends it all opening a free clinic/medical Center for the poor,homeless and less fortunate in Chicago where they don’t need to pay anything to receive care….he just wants to help people he doesn’t care if he gets paid to do it..heart of gold that one 💛
even in death, Mark Greene was a great reference for Carter.
