This Monday I’ll start a project in a costumer house with 48.x24 tile, using your Chanel to see best way to cut and coverage, you always do a good job 👏🏻
The vids on site and vids in this office work space and all the tips and tricks are AWESOME! Happy New Year ... can't wait to see where the channel goes this year!
I plan to install (DIY) 24 x 48 porcelain tiles for my back yard, The concrete slab is slope down away from the house (for water run off purpose), so how I should lay the next tile to have the same slope of the first tile?
I was working on a washroom with 24x24 and the guy leading the job used a 1/2” notch on both the tile backer and the tile ? Is that just redundant or is it better ?
2:26 GRILLED toast the best, not using a toaster, imo. ALSO, Grilled Peanut Butter and Apple Jelly sandwiches are the best, w/ a hint of drizzled Acacia Honey on the peanut butter(not a fan of strawberry or grape, yuck). Naturally, ya melt REAL REAL REAL,SALTED BUTTER in the pan, THEN, you add the bread and move around to soak up that butter (won’t tear the bread and gets you 100% coverage! 100% coverage…..and we talking about 100% tile coverage😉). ✌🏻
Love the effort. However your going over the same areas repeatedly when you’re notching, more practice will save time (time equals money) Try putting the glue to the corner of the area then work out from there.
I don’t use that kind of tools It’s too expensive and useless I just use my mallet and continue put the tiles on then grout done. Until now my tiles looks great 👍
No need for that useless tool. Just a gimmick to take your money. Just add your leveling clips and step on the tile. Your body weight will make sure to collapse the ridges. Besides....A tractor won't be driving over your tiles.
I like when i tell whoever it is im installing these tiles for that it costs more and explain why, they don't understand and feel like im ripping them off or scoff until i tell them they won't have much luck finding anyone else becase not a lot of tile guys like to take on the liability of installing them, let alone have the tools to cut these especially for a shower.
1:16 this is like make pastry……chocolate decorations using acetate, make a thin batter for …….(migraine and mind went blank, 🤦🏼 sorry), and other desserts, lol. Ain’t that interesting and cool😃
5:00 I don’t think a construction channel should should say “crank it up and put it to your chest, it feels kinda crazy”, especially when talking about tools lol! 🤣. Not rippin just funny

Love your vids, man. Please keep ‘em coming!
Can I use plywood or has to be cement board to install these type of tile for wall (for fireplace wall)? Thanks
Please make a video using the vibrator with a large section of glass (similar to Trowel and Error video) to demonstrate its effectiveness.
Great video and explanation. I have never used that 3/4 x 3/4 but I use a 3/4 U alot on smaller than that large format.
Min 6:06 you’re such a great character, and I couldn’t stop laughing at you said “ 90……(pause) 93% coverage! Well done mate
What’s the compound you’re using to apply to the tile & wall?
Do you mind sharing the brand and model of this title?
he's got game! ^_^ thanks for all the good tips
What tile brand/name is that, please?
Very professional sir, good pass on of knowledge sir, happy new year

start at top of slope
Where do you purchase that large tile Winni?!?!
Thank you
You're welcome
Quick question will you use the same process for a 24 by 24 tile. Thank you
with 24x24 tile you have to trowel diagonally
I was working on a washroom with 24x24 and the guy leading the job used a 1/2” notch on both the tile backer and the tile ? Is that just redundant or is it better ?
Yes, redundant. 1/2 inch trowel and backbuttering the tile is enough for 2 by 2 ft tiles.

Hi Mischa... Please send a link for the vibrating tool
Hey just search it on alibaba.com Tile vibration tool:)
Can I buy one of those extras from you?
Love the effort. However your going over the same areas repeatedly when you’re notching, more practice will save time (time equals money)

beautiful ,mr,
I don’t use that kind of tools
It’s too expensive and useless

You let the intrusive thoughts win at 5:00 lol

Thats it
What if you doing shower walls?
Us women already have vibrating tools 🤷🏾♀️
It's not the tractor. It's dropping something on the tile and having it break.
Amazing, thank you! I'm going to use a massage gun instead of this vibrating tool )))
Some would 1/2 notch both the tile and substrate.
Only way to get full coverage effectively
Would you match notch direction?
@@ryanfields7222 yes u must match trowel notches when doing both

easy to do on the horizontal. not so simple on a wall.

No to bad👍👍
I just used my 50$ hand massager, rattled the whole house, then I used in on my sore muscles lol

Or you could just add more water to the mortar
too much talking
