It's now 8am in Connecticut. After watching this video seems like a perfect time to spray paint my outdoor chairs from blue to black. The beautiful pictures of the white wicker porch display has inspired a front yard display of deer and 3 birch trees on one side. On the other side, black chairs with Christmas pillows and small table with a lighted holiday arrangement..so fun. Such a great video!
I’m gardening in California, zone 9b. With drought seemingly snapping at our heels every year, I would love to see what others have done with drought-tolerant, but beautiful landscape and plantings.
Yay, St. Peter Minnesota! They are 4b and about 30 mins from me. Got lots of ideas from the winter arrangements. Now to forge and come up with my own design!
If you do the brick pillars, be sure to have them built with a hole in the center for drip and for electrical !

Watching Aaron clean uo those leaves WAS strangely soothing and satisfying! I bought a leaf mulcher last fall for all my oak leaves and was so proud to make my own mulch, but now I am concerned about overwintering bad bugs like you experienced. I hate bagging up and wasting all those leaves though. Do your concerns about overwintering negagtive insects extend to tree leaves when mulched??? Hope you are feeling better now!

That was great! I was originally disappointed not to be able to contribute because it's so early (it's kind of frowned on to put up Christmas decor before Remembrance Day Nov 11 in Canada), on the other hand I was able to get a lot of inspiration. And I'll make sure to take photos in case there's an opportunity to contribute next year!

Hello Laura, I watched a garden tour you showed some juniper beard. I’ve been looking for that plant. My mom gave a start out of her garden before she passed away. I planted one and the the other I left in a pot. The one I planted died and the other was dug up by a dog. I tried to restart by putting in a pot and tried to start in a pot. How do you restart the this plant, can you start by seeds. Thanks and happy holiidays

I agree with your notice of the subtle use of color. I learned from this video that my arrangements don't turn out as elegant as I envision probably due to cramming in too many colors/details.

Absolutely beautiful everyone. People are so talented. We just bought a new home and a shed so saving this for next year. Our property is surrounded by pines and other trees, 4 acres of forest. Not moving in until December 17th so sparse Christmas this year but next year the sky’s the limit🎄🎄🎄

We celebrate Christmas on Dec 25th during summer in the southern hemisphere so I looooove seeing houses with fresh red, white and green floral/plant displays. Green shrubbery covered in twinkling lights✨🌿✨ looks magical and the weather is perfect for us to walk around our festive neighbourhoods at night (and tire the kids out) but it’s lovely to see how you guys decorate for Christmas in the States too! 😍❤️💚

I’m sure most of those photos were from prior years. So we can all get the creative wheels turning early enough to do some of our own. 😊
I haven't started yet and the pictures I sent were from 2010 to 2021. No rush or pressure should be felt. I was happy to have an excuse to gleen through all of my old decorating pictures so I could get inspired for the upcoming decorating season.
