What are some upcoming Rock & Metal albums you're most looking forward to in 2025? Let me know down below! CORRECTION: The End Will Show Us HOW by Tremonti
Avantasia "Here Be Dragons" Feb 28th, and Smith/Kotzen. Also, rumored Iron Maiden Live album from the Future Past Tour. Thanks for the updates, Johnny! Happy Holidays.
Avantasia is a great one.. Here Be Dragons should be killer! I’m really hoping Maiden release a live album from Nicko’s last show. Happy holidays my friend! 🤘
A new King Diamond album would make my year. Lokking forward to new Dream Theater, Arch Enemy, The Halo Effect, the swansong of Necrodeath, Killswitch and the debut from BLS guitarist Dario Larina's band Dark Chapel. Also rumored is new Anthrax, Testament, Vader and Metal Church.
Lacuna Coil is definitely on my most anticipated for 2025. That band means alot to me since 2006 when I caught them with System Of A Down, Dragonforce and Hatebreed. Pretty much liked their entire catalog and looking forward to see what they're doing next since they've went back to their gothic metal styled music since their mid 2000's felt alternative ish, Lacuna Coil are a special band that whenever I hear something from them I immediately get excited.
King Diamond, Mercyful Fate and I want something from Jason Newsted. Loved his Metal EP and left me wanting more. New Faith No More would be awesome and even though its not metal, new Oasis would be cool since they reunited
I can’t wait for dream theater. If you’re on the fence about seeing them you defiantly should. Saw them in Milan back in October and night terror worked very well live. I also doubt to much will change for the setlist for the US leg.
@@TheCDGuyJZ Easily a top 10 show I’ve seen. Petrucci is not human and hearing octivarium live was one of the best concert experiences I’ve had. For all the hate I’m sure you’ve seen for jame’s voice, it’s totally overblown. He only seemed to be a bit flat or screechy on a few images and words songs but even that wasnt bad and didn’t take me out of the moment at least. Besides those few high moments he was on point the whole time.
King Diamond's becoming Axl Rose with new music for god's sake, now they're saying that he's making THREE albums for a TRILOGY?? Dear god can we just get through the first part please? I love King and am excited for the album, but at the rate we're going we may never hear it. Personally very excited for Killswitch Engage and All That Remains, as well as Exodus, Testament, potentially Paramore and Rise Against as well. Anyways lol, good list mate, and cheers to a happy new year! (Edit): you said it too about Chinese Democracy lmao, we may even get new Guns before the King album at this point)
@@TheCDGuyJZ 10 years at least, and that Fate album he keeps yapping about, the one Jackyl of Salzburg, the song we still dont even have outside of live fan recordings is supposed to be on. King is quite the over-achiever lol. But hell yeah man I'm pretty stoked, also seeing AC/DC, Metallica and fuckin' Weird Al next year LMAO
Sabaton, Helloween, Avantasia's Here Be Dragons, Savatage's Curtain Call, and possibly new Blind Guardian album. also Poets and Madmen is from 2001 not 2004, 'Tage Mahal by Jon Oliva's Pain is what came out in 2004.
Great choices! Helloween seem to be almost done with their new album which is exciting. Good catch with Poets And Madmen… Tage Mahal is a killer record btw
1. Dream Theater - Parasomnia 2. Spiritbox - Tsunami 3. Lacuna Coil - Sleepless Empire 4. Tremonti - The End Will Show Us How 5. Arch Enemy - Blood Dynasty

The first few months of 2025 are looking pretty stacked so far!
Oh wow! Savatage is coming out with an album. Cool. Cheers JZ
Yeah it’s exciting stuff for sure! They’ve been working on it for a while, but it seems like 2025 is finally the year it sees the light of day.
Hoping the long awaited new Coroner album comes out next year. And a new Exodus album is always welcome,
Same! That would be awesome!
I want new Deftones

Great choices! Looks of exciting stuff on the horizon this year! Hopefully we'll get some confirmation on the new Anthrax and Testament soon enough.
@TheCDGuyJZ did you see Dark Angel is supposed to play new songs at upcomng shows early next year?
@@joerocks7381 I didn't hear that... very cool!
Lacuna Coil is definitely on my most anticipated for 2025.
That band means alot to me since 2006 when I caught them with System Of A Down, Dragonforce and Hatebreed.

Lacuna Coil with SOAD, Dragonforce & Hatebreed sounds like a killer bill! They have an awesome discography… very high hopes for the new record!
there’s gonna be upcoming Alice Cooper, Anthrax and Testament next year?
I’ve read that they all have stuff in the works. Testament will probably be out this year for sure.
Definitely looking forward to Dream Theater and Smith/Kotzen.
I hope the new Smith/Kotzen is similar to the debut. Adrian and Ritchie are two amazing guitarists with great chemistry together.
I’m looking forward for Lita fords new one
For sure! It’s been a while since she’s released a proper new album.
King Diamond, Mercyful Fate and I want something from Jason Newsted. Loved his Metal EP and left me wanting more. New Faith No More would be awesome and even though its not metal, new Oasis would be cool since they reunited
These would all be awesome! I wish Newsted would do something more… his EP was super heavy.
I can’t wait for dream theater. If you’re on the fence about seeing them you defiantly should. Saw them in Milan back in October and night terror worked very well live. I also doubt to much will change for the setlist for the US leg.
I think I’m leaning towards going. It should be a great time. Really cool that you got to see them in Milan… must’ve been an awesome show!

Sounds awesome! I’m totally sold… I may have to go now just to hear Octavarium lol
i will be listening to the new Testament album when it comes out on Spotify already have Testament on my playlist plus lots of other thrash metal
Can’t wait to hear New Testament… I wonder how they follow Titans Of Creation… a top 3 Testament record IMO

3 KING DIAMOND ALBUMS?! That’s gonna take like 10 more years lol
Great choices! 2025 is looking pretty stacked so far!

Have a great time at those shows next year. Like Homer Simpson says: “He who is tired of Weird Al is tired of life.” 🤘

5. Arch Enemy - Blood Dynasty
Great choices! I forgot about the new Spiritbox… can’t wait for that one either.
@TheCDGuyJZ I wasn't crazy about the first song, Soft Cell, but when they released Perfect Soul, that really got me and is my favorite song of 2024
Don't care about any of these bands at all. Not that anyone cares about that. 😅 Anthrax and Down coming out with new stuff though
Anthrax have been workshopping that new album for years… hopefully 2025 is the year we get to hear it. New Down would be killer!
No one is anticipating new garbage metal from 2025.
That’s just like, totally your opinion, man.
