I know it's too late for a suggestion but I used old bed liners preferably Toyota as ski glides for all my trailer decking. My buddy owns a Line-x shop and I get as much as I want. I would like to suggest Timbrens for you truck. Its a better and cheaper alternative than air bags. I have them on my 99 Tahoe and had them on my old dodge 3500. There like 169$ us.
I was looking for a old bed liner from a place I worked at, that installed them but no luck, the project had to move forward. I will check out that product but the squat is not that bad so far. My last truck I had super springs added they helped out a bunch.
Most of the material is 1/8” or 3/16” wall thickness material that I had laying around. Just my rivets on the uprights have been the week point. 1000lbs has been up it so far between gear, sled and myself.
Awesome job! Can't wait for you to start moving logs and getting the cabin started!
