    I know it's too late for a suggestion but I used old bed liners preferably Toyota as ski glides for all my trailer decking. My buddy owns a Line-x shop and I get as much as I want. I would like to suggest Timbrens for you truck. Its a better and cheaper alternative than air bags. I have them on my 99 Tahoe and had them on my old dodge 3500. There like 169$ us.

      I was looking for a old bed liner from a place I worked at, that installed them but no luck, the project had to move forward. I will check out that product but the squat is not that bad so far. My last truck I had super springs added they helped out a bunch.

    How thick of aluminum was used? Was it strong enough

      Most of the material is 1/8” or 3/16” wall thickness material that I had laying around. Just my rivets on the uprights have been the week point. 1000lbs has been up it so far between gear, sled and myself.
