Good advice and video, only thing I would add is shut the machine off before exciting it, I made the mistake and slipped on the deck my arm pushed against the throttle, fortunately no damage but almost 😂
I have an old track that I cut in half with hooks on one end that I put on the bottom rung of the ramp so I don’t slip on the ground so I can go as slow as I’d like.
Yea I’ve never learned how to load a sled onto a sled deck but my dad said if I couldn’t unload my sled then I couldn’t ride it, so I learned then and there, and I got scared at how fast I was speeding up going down it and I hit the brakes a little too hard and almost flipped my sled backwards off the ramp
1= PREACTICE doing SLOW CONTROLLED MOVING OF SLED, FORWARD AND REVERSE...so you KNOW how your sled will move... and not be surprised when it suddenly engages the clutch..
Glad I found this. Just picked up a sled deck today for my truck. Thanks.
happy to help! have fun!!
Very good delivery. Well thought out and precise.

Good video…one question how far can you have the sled off the back of the truck?
I wouldn’t hang it too far off the back, starts to put stress on the track and the skid
Moving to northern Idaho, just starting snowmo if you have any good areas for a green horn, let me know.
Up by lookout pass or somewhere up there is fun.
How about using a motorised pully to pull it up the sled.
Ayyy your from Wa !!
Yup! 🤘🏼
did you forget to put the "pin" in the ramp side to keep them from sliding back together, I always tell my customers this is a must !!
youre right i did Dan!

That's great if you have reverse...
I don’t have a sled, or a sled deck, but my wife showed me a fail video, and I wanted to better understand what went wrong.
Thanks for watching Ryan! 🤘🏼

What step is putting on a helmet ?
No helmet =no brain
You sound like you drive by yourself with a mask on.
